> 3 dayRouter prior to this one was never hitting my speeds that i payed for... it was only getting about 600-700mb download on a good day even though i pay for gigabit service. Upgraded to this bad boy and instantly i am now hitting 1,000mb plus. This is also the wifi 6 model and its awesome for wifi. 6E wasnt worth the money imo and wifi 7 wont be getting going for years. My router is next to my desk and i tested wifi on my phone and it was getting 800-900 wireless of course this is in the same room as the router so it will go down in speed the farther away you are from the signal.

> 3 dayI tried to connect to a 6G network from my pc but to no avail and I dont know why, I followed many explanations on YouTube and how to connect from Windows, many people suffer from the same problem, it works for some and fails for others.

01-04-2025I got this router as an upgrade to have 6ghz functionality, ethernet connected to the AX6000 Aimesh node. So far it has worked without issue.

> 3 dayJust up dated from Rapture GT11000 to 16000 it’s fast works great running in mesh mode speeds of 960 and Wi-Fi 760mb on spectrum 1 GB service 32 devices and 4k streaming Should say GT 11000 would do same. Rapture 16000 have couple new features and 10 GB ports but needed mesh system for garage Like both units great routes only money right, surely recommended

Greater than one weekMulti-gig WAN ports are useless if LAN ports going to well capable computer that can connect to multi-gig connections are limited to 1gig. Many companies are milking this by claiming fast speeds but the reality, your wired nodes won’t be able to connect any higher speeds over a gig. Don’t be fooled by this tactic. My wireless IOTs connect well and high rated speeds. Not everything is wireless.

> 3 dayI’ll start with the main problem which I found to be probably the only thing wrong but large enough to return and go with a different brand. The 2.4ghz doesn’t get over 150mbs down, when it should be getting 300-600mbs down with my fiber 1000/1000. The 5.0 only gets half the speeds that it should as well. Now I changed setting called addys tech and even sent a system log in and nothing they only told me they needed more logs. So maybe it’s a defective unit, so I order my second one thinking this has to be it. New router arrives same problem. I’m short DO NOT BUY THIS ROUTER. If you plan on getinng blazing fast wireless speeds. The 2.5 port is very fast and nice but the wireless is garbage.

> 3 dayASUS router once again dont disappoint. Thing is an beast. Upgraded from a 5300, which was no slouch IMO.. But man the 11k seems like a huge performance enhancement for sure. WPA3 support was an absolute security requirement. WIFI 6E compliant for future proof when the adapters finally come down in price. Running WIFI 6 adapters over the 5 gig band is impressive. Purchased a 6E adapter for supporting Amazon Prime streaming out to large 60 inch monitor via HDMI. Still waiting on that delivery. Will update this post once I have some time and data on my implementation.
