> 3 dayI had a set of the ZenWifi XT8s (Triband Wifi 6 = no 6ghz). Got this to boost wifi in the house AND get the 10gbe ports for LAN use. (Streaming from a NAS, etc.). Its overkill, but I wanted to transfer files fast. I followed DongKnowsTech dot com and had the Mesh setup pretty quickly. Did have to restart everything a few times, but no biggie. Upgraded firmware to latest and set up network. Everything is working fine, EXCEPT the 10gbe ports seem finnicky. To be more specific, they seem to slow down over time. I can reboot the router, and get 950mbps, but after awhile, it will drop to 800, then 650, etc. This is WAN btw. I really have not test LAN speed, but appears to be pretty quick. A quick reboot of the router fixes the issue temporarily. I installed the latest Merlin firmware, and the issue seems to persist. I am thinking this will be fixed in a future firmware release, but who knows. Frankly, however, there is no real world difference between 600 mbps and 900. They are both plenty fast. You do want to get what you are paying your ISP for though. Wifi is great, even though we only have one device (a laptop) in the house capable of 6ghz (Wifi 6e). Otherwise, the main purpose of this (for me) is the Multi-gigabit LAN capability and AiMesh compatability. I have this paired with a TRENDnet TEG-S762 10g switch to feed the AiMesh nodes at 2.5g. All cables are Cat 8 (supposedly). Overall, a very powerful router, although expensive. I feel it should serve my purposes for 5-7 years before everything is switched over to Wifi 7.

> 3 dayThis router (GT-AX11000 Pro) is an absolute beast. It a refresh/remake of the fan favorite (the GT-AX11000) Its extremely customizable with free lifetime router-level anti-malware. I really like how you can administer the router via a browser or an app (the app is a nice bonus but not required) The range is great and the whole thing looks really sharp even if a tiny bit menacing.

> 3 dayPurchased the AXE11000 1 month ago. Since then, ive had nothing but connectivity problems. I currently have Spectrum internet as my isp @400 mbps. I use a Spectrum modem with cat 6 and plugged into the 2.5g port and nothing. I plug into the 1g port and it works fine. I unplug over & over but now i cant even get the 1g port to work. All firmware is up to date. I did a factory reset but still nothing. I wanted to return to Amazon but im 4 days late so return not possible. Guess im out 500$. Save your money & shop around before buying this buggy router.

> 3 dayPricey, yes. Has a great user interface for sure. Great signal everywhere and easily hands my 40+ devices through my 3000 Sq foot home. No dead areas but to be sure I created a mesh AP point with my Nighthawk AX6000 wireless router daisy chained to my switch. Works awesome. My kids have no latency issues with their online gaming and believe me my 14 year boy and 11 year girl who are always playing online lets me know issues with his/her connections. Ill running this through Comcast 800mbs speeds. Love it.

Greater than one weekIt’s been almost a year since I’ve bought this product. I’ve switched cable companies and modem thinking that was the issue. I mean, I’m a huge ASUS fun. Own several asus products. Please do yourself a favor do NOT buy this. Google the name of this route and random Wi-Fi crashes. It’s a real thing. Unfortunately my return window for this is closed, I wish I could return it. I’ve spent several hours trying to do research and configuration. My father in law is a Senior IT guy and he couldn’t figure out what’s wrong with it, other than say it was my router. Please do not buy this.

> 3 dayI have two in a mesh network and once I got them going they are excellent and very stable. Make sure you give the router time to apply changes.

> 3 dayWebsites frequently freeze when loading (or entirely fail to load) with the recent October 2022 firmware update. I have to buy a new router to access Wi-Fi reliably due to that recently-introduced bug.
