I have on laptop that supports the 6e Wi-Fi protocol and about 25 and through at least one wall I am getting the full 800Mbs speed over Wi=Fi. I also have a total of about 35 devices hardwired and Wi-Fi and all is working well using an aimesh router in my garage. I was getting signal drops with my previous router and this one has been rock solid. Only down side is the cost.

There are good reviews here with precautions about this Router, so before Id even turned it on I downloaded the Merlin Firmware and the latest official ASUS Firmware in case I needed it. Thankfully, I didnt.

Whether you need a new router or you dont...If you are not using one of these routers you are not getting your full ISP prrovided connectivity. I have a 1GB plan and my RT-AC88U would not go past 450mbps on a good day. Switched to this BAD BOY and now Im getting 980mbps without making any changes to my modem or service.

Before I start, massive kudos to Amazon who has allowed me to swap two of these problematic devices in an attempt to get a good one. Unfortunately for me, no such luck and ASUS support was weak at best.

I replaced an AC3200 with this and as a result gained whole house b/g/n/a/ac as well as ax. It seemed to configure for wireless Backhaus by default so I switched it to wired. If I were using two of these for whole house AX then I would use the 2.5Ghz for wired back haul. It was a totally pain free install. Resetting the AC68U router to allow it to be added into an AI mesh with this was probably the most annoying part. Do the reset before you tear down your old network is the easiest way. Knocking this one star for Value for Money because it is expensive right now. If you want to allow for future 6Ghz and you have a fast AC already then go for this.

Had expectations for this router when I bought it, but not only were the expectations not met, but the experience was worse than my old ASUS router.

The 6Ghz radio died on my router (hence the headline title). When first installed on 7th October 2022 it worked good the 6ghz was broadcasting. My laptops could see and connect to it. when i checked two days ago i noticed it wasnt broadcasting anymore. My 30 days return has long gone so returning is not an option for me anymore.

Honestly, this isn’t one of those reviews to just make because Amazon asked me to but more to state how much of a bad ass router this is. I swear, I been through multiple routers throughout the year. Netgear NightHawk, to a NearGear mesh system, I even had the Asus Axe11000 and that router flat out tryed me. No good range and not being able to handle FaceTime and gaming at the same time, but this router!!! Is the best router I have encountered. Period. The UI is close to the AX11000 but more simple. Actually, the router does everything by itself to a extent but Ofcourse tweaking with the setting does play a difference. I have the PS5 so ofocourse I hard wired up and for who ever says there is no difference is a lie. From playing games like pub G, to Overwatch, COD and Destiny, you can tell a Boost in start up times. Instantly falling into matches, and smooth transition times. There’s so much more I can say but this is Router of the year. I love it and have no doubts

Maravilloso router, fácil de instalar y configurar. Todo tal cual la descripción y más, ya que tiene dual-wan y balanceador de carga
