> 3 dayThe ASUS ROG Rapture WiFi 6E Gaming Router (GT-AXE11000) is a high-end router with many impressive features, including WiFi 6 support, AiMesh, VPN Fusion, and extensive customization options. The reviewer noted that the router has great performance, with speeds reaching 500-600 Mbps in close proximity and 300 Mbps at a distance. The advanced features, such as the ability to assign static IP addresses and the VPN server, are also impressive. The setup process for the router was easy but had some issues with stability. The AiMesh feature improved the stability and speed of the network, but the reviewer had to restart the router and node in a specific order to get a solid network connection. Overall, the reviewer was impressed with the router and its capabilities.

> 3 dayIf your device is not Wi-Fi 6 don’t even consider as it will slow down your Wi-Fi speed, a lot.

> 3 dayAfter several months of working fine, the router went into a state of constantly rebooting. I did multiple factory resets, rolled back firmware, but to no avail. Researched the problem and found it has something to do with some unfixable Linux artifacts. Basically, there’s nothing that can be done. So now I have a very expensive brick. Beware.

Greater than one weekIf you need a router now, then look no further and you will be happy with this router. If you can wait, WiFi 7 routers are supposed to be coming out this year. WiFi 7 is supposed to be significantly improved. I just bought this router and it’s amazing! Having said that, if I could’ve waited for a WiFi 7 version… I would have.

> 3 dayThis router worked great for six weeks then stopped connecting with the internet. After troubleshooting with my internet provider and ASUS technical support including swapping out on-hand equipment with what was in service, the conclusion is that the new ASUS RT-AXE11000 router failed. I have been trying to get a replacement but no word from ASUS on availability. My own opinion is that they put this product out too early and can’t support replacement of failures. They wanted me to pay for return shipping too on a six week old unit! Still no resolution. If I were you I’d wait a while to see about reliability and service before buying this.

> 3 dayThis thing is huge! Right out the box downloads are above 900 mbps. The GUI has tons of options. It blew my Linksys AC3200 out of the water. Best download speed with my Linksys was about 500 mbps. I’m very happy!!

> 3 dayI got the ASUS GT-AXE16000 paired with the 2 ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 for Asus Aimesh setup. I have only 1 device that can do more than 1gbps that my gaming PC with Comcast/Xfinity I get about 1400mbps down and 40mbps up. The router works, but if you you are using Aimesh dont use frimware version .388 Or higher as of 02-04-2023. It has a major bug that kicks off all nodes ever couple of minutes. The frimware also applies if you have the ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 updated to the .388 Frimware you need to down grade all 3 of the devices. I bought these as a bundle set so it was $100.00 off.

> 3 dayI purchased this router because I already had ASUS routers in my home and this is a beast of a router filled with the most modern features available on a home router! If only it did VLANs, that would be amazing. But I quickly took advantage of the WiFI 6e feature, allowing me to have the fastest and most up-to-date standard available at the time of this review. Now my cell phones get amazing speeds. Im also taking advantage of using WiFi 6 with the AiMESH technology. I have the main router in my office, and I also have two other routers in my home acting as MESH points/locations. Inside the management portal of the router, it shows how and what devices are connected to what MESH device. At first, the devices werent spreading already like I hoped they did, but after a while, I noticed that the various WiFi devices in my home were picking the best signal for it which is great! I have approximately 9 WiFi devices so this is great. Another cool feature is that it will let you connect multiple ISP Internet connections to it. You can pick various options on how to manage this. Of course, buying say a cable and fiber from the phone company can be expensive, it sure would be cool. Due to the cost, I havent decided to do this, but I think its cool that is there just in case! There are a ton of other features to explore. This is mighty expensive to purchase at the time of this review, but for me, it was worth having the latest and great technology managing my network and having a router that is providing firmware updates! Cheers!
