> 3 dayReviewing the ASUS 29 Ultrawide Monitor... I have spent weeks researching the perfect monitor to upgrade my home studios needs. I do light gaming, audio recording and production, video editing, and image rendering. I recently upgraded a 10-year old PC with a new 600W power supply, SSD primary drive, and an Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti GPU. I needed a monitor that was large, fast, crisp, and true in color. I also needed something that is affordable, physically adjustable, and well-constructed. In short, this product nailed every single one of my needs. I detect no pixel walking, backlight IPS glow, or system incompatibility. I have always trusted ASUS products, and this monitor fully lived up to my expectations. The price point was almost, suspiciously, too good to be true, but so far so good...

> 3 dayI like that it has 1 DP and 2 HDMI ports. I have two laptops connected to it. I still have some problems with my new Dell XPS 15 7590 laptop on HDMI. The issue is, my laptop does not connect to the monitor on HDMI unless I force a reset by changing the refresh from 60HZ to 59. I have to go into the Display Settings, then the Advanced display settings for the monitors HDMI connection and change the refresh rate several times. I havent had this issue with the DP connection. I dont know if the issue is the laptop or the monitor. It is hard finding information. I thought it may be driver issues, but theyve been updated. I mainly use the laptop for huge spreadsheets or Visio drawings from one laptop, or YouTube and games on the other. I dont use any audio, just video and the monitor has been great.

> 3 daySo far the only largest complaint Ive had and the reason I dont give it five stars is that dang button configuration on the back. Its not absolutely terrible but definitely not intuitive and the power off feature is not at all what it could be. Other than that this monitor has been quite great. No other complaints. Cheaper 4k monitor that doesnt noticeably ghost compared to my other Sceptre monitor. I have had this monitor more than a Month without any real issues.

Greater than one weekI got this monitor to connect to my MacBook while working at my desk. I dont do gaming so I cant comment on this as a gaming monitor but for productivity it has worked out really well. Other reviews have said that there are clarity and picture quality issues but I have seen no issue what so ever at this point. The picture is clear and sharp at 4k 60Hz. The color is good and has plenty of brightness. I do some picture editing and this monitor is working well for those functions. Overall recommended.

Greater than one weekIve got two of these side-by-side and was loving them until one died. Its a great monitor, but 22 months useful life isnt enough. Now instead of the menu I get a very pared-down version of a menu that only lets me choose an input or turn off the power, and I cant connect via DP.

> 3 dayThis Asus monitor has the highest resolution I could find in a monitor under $5000. The visuals are stunning. It powers on quickly and has features to let you delay when it would go to sleep. I am very pleased with these monitors (I bought two and have them side by side as external monitors for my laptop.
