> 3 dayI am disappointed in this monitor. I have 2 of these monitors paired with two of the ASUS VN279s. There is no such thing as pure white with these monitors. there seems to be a positional color temperature gradient that depends on my point of view. The top of the monitor has more of a warm color, the bottom is cooler. If someone walks up to your desk to see something, their view looking down at the monitor will make it appear soaked in cyan. also, the icons at the bottom of the screen are tinted blue. It’s very off putting to have these very mismatched color temps. Especially when my eyes are spaced and have a slightly different POV. I have played with the settings quite a bit, but since the problem relates to POV, all settings are just for a single POV and maybe 5 to 10 degrees up or down... lastly, light output is pretty low, I can never quite match my VN279s. There is quite a bit that they do right...

Greater than one weekAfter reading some of the negative reviews, I was hesitant about ordering this monitor, but I decided to just give it a try, and if I didnt like it, I would return it. I have been using this monitor for months now, and I have zero problems with it. There is no image ghosting at all when I watch movies. All of the text on the screen are super clear and sharp. And I didnt have a problem scaling up texts and icons in Windows 10 to 200% so everything isnt super tiny. I think all the negative reviewers had problems with their graphics cards or PC, or they are just computer illiterate. The little multi-function joystick button on the back of the monitor is very easy to use, and I havent had any problems with it. I hardly ever used the joystick button after the initial setup, since the monitor turns on and off with my PC. I use this monitor to watch movies all day everyday, and play videogames. And the picture quality and refresh rate is great. I have played Counter Strike Global Offensive on it, as well as Borderlands 3, and Cyberpunk 2077, and other games on it, and I have had zero problems at all. If youve had an ASUS monitor before, it is pretty much the same thing, with the same bezel design, the same material for the screen, except it is a lot larger, and has a higher DPI. I like the single joystick button in the back, which keeps me from having to feel around for the correct button to push. I give this monitor a 10 out of 10. And at 200 dollars it is a great deal. I would recommend this product to friends and family.

> 3 dayI use it every day for gaming. I have had no issues with it. I connect with the display port and dont use HDMI with it. The only time I have difficulties are when I am creating, like with photoshop. the Photoshop app appears too teeny tiny, and I can hardly see the wording or icons.

05-06-2025I have another similarly priced Samsung monitor and wanted a dual set up so I decided to try this one. The Samsung blows this out the water with the quality of colors, most notably the depth of blacks. Both monitors offer a crisp picture with this one ever so slightly edging the Samsung out with finer details sometimes. Other than that it has worked flawlessly since purchased which was almost a year ago so no complaints there. Its definitely a decent monitor considering the price point but there are other options I would explore if or when it comes time to purchase again.

> 3 dayIt might just be that Im upgrading from a 1080p from 2010, but I am quite satisfied. Nice and dark, great response, good connectivity, and the control nub on the back is easier to use than I expected. Text (and everything else) nice and clear. As a bonus, it even has a much smaller stand than my older, smaller monitor, freeing up a good bit of desk space. I havent seen any of the mentioned issues, using an Nvidia GPU. I did have an issue where half the screen was solid black when I first turned it on. Turns out, this was an Nvidia issue, and a simple driver update fixed it.

> 3 dayI had purchased this monitor when I bought a new gaming PC and really liked the picture quality. once we went to a hybrid in-office/work from home I decided to get a second monitor so I could have a dual monitor configuration for both locations. The multiple inputs allow me to have both my gaming pc and work laptop connected without disconnecting any cables. It is definitely worth the money.

> 3 dayFor whatever reason, it flickers. Two of my friends got this and raved about it. Overall its great and I love it but the flickering is annoying and painful on the eyes. The first one I exchanged, maybe just a defect, but happens on the replacement too. Ran the same settings as my friends, they dont have the issue, I do. Kind of sad since its supposed to help your eyes. Been through everything I could to figure it out but nothing. Changed settings on the monitor and my xbox for hours to no avail. Ill deal with it I guess...

> 3 dayThey say it has HDMI and DP dual use, I used HDMI since I purchased it in May, worked fine. All of a sudden, last week it switched to 1080P only, and supports only answer is get DP, which my computer does not support. So no help from support at all, and no explanation of why it changed. Just replace HDMI with DP. So they are not very truthful about the dual support.

> 3 dayI bought this monitor specifically for my Xbox One X. I used to have a Benq monitor but crossed over to the ASUS and I’m pleased with it. The picture quality in my opinion is about an 8/10 ( I’m basing this off of playing COD WWII and random 4K YouTube videos . 1ms response time on a 4K gaming monitor is pretty amazing too. I’ve noticed better results in my gaming . If you’re ever playing an FPS game and you know you have the skill set to perform well and a good internet connection but people are still getting the jump on you then this will definitely remedy those issues . The only issue I’m having is that free-sync is grayed out and is not even able to be used . I feel if a product is marketing this as an option you should be able to use it. I also wish I would have kicked in the extra money to get the more adjustable version . I feel the monitor sits kind of low . It’s a good monitor and I would recommend if you’re on the fence
