> 3 daySo I must disclose that Im brand new to gaming, but this monitor is absolutely up to the standards needed for any ordinary gamer. To step up to the 120 or 144hz monitors, the price of them goes up exponentially. Sure Id love a 144 or even 240, but I dont have $800 to drop on a monitor. The 1ms rate and amazing clear full HD display is so gorgeous and clear. I play PUBG with a 1080ti GPU and i7-7700k CPU. Sadly the monitor is the only thing stopping me from pushing that 144 to 240hz rate. This is an excellent monitor and the 27 screen is much larger than I realized when you sit just about 45 centimeters away! Its plenty large enough for gaming.

> 3 dayAfter a several month of use I am pretty satisfied with this monitor. I just needed a larger no frills monitor for coding and conferencing. My biggest complaint is that for a monitor with so many setting to protect your eyes from blue light, whenever my computer turns off or goes to suspend the screen goes completely, blindingly bright blue which defeats all the settings to protect your eyes, and your sleep. My second point of contention is its poor design. For such a large monitor there is only one VESA mount, and it is in a curved, circular recess (and used by the foot stand which you cant piggy-back on). You cant really mount a mini pc on the back which is so common these days even with an extension.

> 3 dayI had occasional lag but not too bad. Before this I played on a plasma TV and never had a bit of lag. I was surprised since free synch is supposed to be better than playing on a tv. I liked that my eyes never burned like they do with an LED monitor so blue light is treated and I could play games all day without apparent eye strain. The most irritating thing is where the port for the HDMI and other cables are located. I had to practically turn it upside down to get the HDMI cable in and it comes out easily too.

> 3 dayFor the money, I think the monitor is a good buy. I have 3 27 monitor a great tri-monitor stand that has VESA mounts. Since this is a 4K monitor. The other two monitors are 1080p monitors I made it, my main monitor The monitor menu system is easy to learn. My only real complaint its not bright enough

> 3 dayIt really is a great monitor, but the fact that it doesnt have sound output, in case you want to listen or play a game that doesnt need the Headset, leaves a lot to be desired!

> 3 dayI love the quality of this screen. received it and connected it to my PC. read some articles about the display port vs. HDMI. I decided to go with the Display port connection and of course had to install drivers. once the drivers were installed the free sync feature is great. knows what to display and when. the only thing i have to say is that if you think its plug and play at max res, youre sadly mistaken. there is a setting in the monitor that you have to turn on for the free sync feature to work and its oddly labeled. After that was figured out and my settings were correct and monitor calibrated, oh boy is it nice. i play a lot of Different genres of games and whether its a FPS or a RPG or a strategy game it out does what Ive known as a monitor for the price. highly recommended.

08-06-2025I have had this monitor for 16 months now and it has lived up to my expectations in every way. The picture is sharp and clear and the colors are vibrant. Not a gamer, so over-top specs were not was I was looking for. I needed a good general purpose monitor that would be suitable for watching sports too. I having been planning to update my graphics card (like so many for us) but still using my old Nvidia GTX1060, which is not quite up to the mark for MSFS 2020. Even so, this monitor displays great scenery. If you are looking for a good solid monitor that will serve you well for years, I highly recommend this monitor.

> 3 dayI have another similarly priced Samsung monitor and wanted a dual set up so I decided to try this one. The Samsung blows this out the water with the quality of colors, most notably the depth of blacks. Both monitors offer a crisp picture with this one ever so slightly edging the Samsung out with finer details sometimes. Other than that it has worked flawlessly since purchased which was almost a year ago so no complaints there. Its definitely a decent monitor considering the price point but there are other options I would explore if or when it comes time to purchase again.
