> 3 daySuper Fire Starter, large enough for my big mitts, covered the end with G-Tape (storage), nice size and it puts the sparks out there by gosh. If you can not start a fire with this, get a blow torch. Packs easily, and I prefer the larger size to those minis. Very good price, recommend Seller. Would buy again, but this one will last a long, long time (if I dont lose it) in the Bush.

11-06-2025It is a substantial piece. I was surprised at the weight. Maybe better suited for cabin, etc. since a smaller piece would be less of a load for a bug out bag. Once the smooth finish was scraped off with a few strikes from the back of my knife the sparks were flying. It should last a long time. Great item. It has a drilled hole for a lanyard, hang it in place and/or keep a striker attached.

Greater than one weekWorks great! Used to start fires for a kayak camping trip. With good tinder it works well! Side Note- It’s worthwhile to make a lanyard out of some bright paracord so you don’t loose it
