> 24 hourUn lente de combate, excelente objetivo con un precio sumamente accesible. Algo plasticoso y ligero, pero con la ventaja de tener estructura metalica (cosa que el modelo anterior no tenia) El anterior lo tuve que descartar precisamente porque una pestaña del engrane se trozo... Amazon de nuevo ha atendido mi pedido de manera amable (chats de consulta) y entrega...

> 24 hourHavent had the full chance to go get some really tough shots with it, but the bokeh is super creamy, it manages to add great depth and make your subject really stand out. The detail is unbelievable and the pictures all come out crisp and smooth. I do recommend opening up your aperture more for bigger subjects as the lens could blur out the edges. The stepping motor is very very loud though, but that doesnt really bother me. For the money, this lens is totally worth the investment from hobbyists to pros.

> 24 hourThis is a great lens. It is so easy to run around with and shoot great photos Light-weight, fast focus, and good for low-light situations. With the 1.8 can get great depth of field in your pictures. I also shoot with a 70-200 2.8 and find Ive been using this one much more often. Yes it doesnt have all the telephoto but much more light-weight and nimble. Be careful shooting under F2.2 as you will only get a very specific point in focus. Everything else will appear blurry. I usually shoot around 2.8 for good close-up shots.

> 24 hourIve had the old 50mm f/1.8 lens from canon for many years and I decided to buy the newer model (STM) based on many reviews and I was not disappointed at all: the STM lens is awesome. The quality of the image is very good and it corrects the main problem of the old model: the focus speed. While the old lens sometimes took ages to focus (specially in low light conditions), the STM focus is almost instantaneous.

> 24 hourReally like this lens. I think its a big step up from the older nifty fifty. A solid contender to the more expensive 50 1.4. Smaller, metal mourning plate, quieter and better autofocus (IMHO). Larger focusing ring when focusing manually. No-brainer for the money.
