Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens

Awesome lens for still videos or photography. No stabilizer for video shooting, but works as advertised.

This is the first lens I ever bought and it is the best lens I ever bought I highly recommend this lens if your starting out in photography and your working on portraits, this lens has super buttery depth of field (background blur) and focuses sharp on your subjects. Get this lens and start shooting.

Works as expected

I’m still learning how to make use of a 50mm but overall GREAT quality for a GREAT price. I would highly recommend. I’ve had no problems and it’s been so much fun to take photos with. Especially good for self portraits.

I viewed many reviews on Youtube about the niffy 50 or 50mm. If it sold for CAD $100 then maybe you could argue it is worth the money. I did not like the feel of the lens. It feels cheap and if it noisy. My immediate reaction was why is Canon putting out this product that serves to cheapen the brand.

This was a great investment. Gives a nice effect and betters amateur photography. You cant zoom out.

I absolutely love this prime lens. Great for portrait photography. This was a great lens for what I wanted to acheive with the blurred background. Didnt want to splurge for the f1.4 which is about 3x what this lens cost. Perfect for beginners too.
