The Dyson V11 Torque Drive Cordless Vacuum is a top-of-the-line cleaning machine that offers powerful suction, intelligent sensors, and a convenient and sleek design. With its ability to adjust suction power and battery life based on the surface being cleaned and a large 0.2-gallon bin capacity, it can tackle any mess with ease. The vacuums versatility is further enhanced by its ability to easily swap brush tools and its support for multiple surfaces. One of the standout features of the V11 is its dynamic adjustment, which adjusts suction power and estimates battery life based on the resistance of the brush head. This allows for a more effective cleaning experience. The vacuum also has an LCD screen that displays battery life and suction power, allowing users to easily switch between Eco, Auto, and Boost modes. Most the time im in auto though versus boosting or eco.

I use an older Dyson upright and my wife uses a Bissell stick vacuum After one month: NO MORE CORDS! The V11 is light in weight but heavy on convenience and the suction is amazing. My wife has rheumatoid arthritis and I worried how she would be able to use the V11 with the works in the handle. She says it is as easy to use as the stick vac. It is very well balanced. The trigger switch has not been an issue for either of us. Maneuvering the vacuum head is dead easy and so much more convenient than the fixed heads of other vacuums. The vacuum head goes under cabinet overhangs and furniture, something the upright can’t do. The powered brush head does an excellent job on wood floors. Cleaning ceiling air and filter vents is so much more easy. I was skeptical how the V11 would handle the few short pile area rugs but it cleans them just fine. We have not run out of battery power cleaning our 2300 square foot house. The light weight, convenience and powered head means many small jobs go to the Dyson instead of the Dust Buster. Emptying is easy. My one concern is dust accumulation on the inside surfaces of the vacuum. I use an air compressor to blow out the dust accumulation in the innards of the Dyson upright and it is amazing how much there is. I’ve cleaned the V11 the same way and dust accumulation in it is also amazing. I can’t imagine not having an air compressor to clean these vacuums. The most important point I want to reiterate is that the convenience, light weight and maneuverability of the V11 means floors get vacuumed more often! What is the value of convenience, ease of use and good cleaning? Despite the initial cost, this vacuum can handle the jobs as well if not better than our other vacuums but with magnitudes more ease and convenience.

In the case of my short little review here of the(my) Dyson v11-outsize{And also whomever actually shipped the package to me}, I will preface with: You get what you pay for. I couldnt be any happier with any part of the transaction or the v11-outsize itself and its accouterments. It arrived in a box that had shipping airpillows for stabilization and another box inside. That box was a protective sheath for the Dyson box. Inside the Dyson box there was another, at least, 20$ worth of cardboard to surround and protect every single individual attachment, both individual batteries, and the main unit. It took me 30 minutes of gleefully enjoying the entire unboxing experience to get everything out of the boxes. Not to mention there was a few more minutes of breaking unneeded cardboard down for recycling. Once I turned the unit on with the 20% charge that was pre installed on the batteries, I was 1000000% happy with my unit and I did a quick 2min vacuum of my apartment...which...I thought was already very clean..and I had a disgusting amount of very very very fine dust..nearly filling..yes...nearly filling..this extra large container. So...lets say that I am blown away (pardon the pun) by the actual performance of this little thing... And Im actually afraid of what a good 15min deep vacuum session is gonna yield in my apartment now. Because I had vacuumed with an old vacuum (that worked just fine mind you) not 3 days ago and Ive been gon for half that time. So... Let me end with. Im thrilled about everything. 1: My new toy was worth every penny simply because it sounds like a mini jet engine(very tolerable, even for a disabled vet with a very complicated head injury that has increased his sensitivity to sounds so much that his quiet cell phone alert makes him jump out of his skin) and I love just clicking it on for the spool up whistle. 2: the way the package was sent to me and the dyson packaging itself were marks of top quality. Like I said there was at least 20$ of cardboard there...I think it was closer to about 40-60$. 3: the unit can nearly almost pick up my combat boots with the suction power of this thing when I have it on turbo mode. 100/100 <3

I am not a cleaning gadget person. Give me a rag and some Simple Green, a mop, a broom and a vacuum and thats pretty much it. I have purchased several vacuums I thought were good (always more money than I liked), but always came up short for cleaning. I finally bit the bullet and purchased this Dyson V11 Animal vacuum. I figured I would ultimately disappointed again, but for more money this time. I was wrong! I have been blown away by how much better this vacuum works than any I have had before. I love, LOVE not being tethered to the wall and dithering with a cord all the time. This vacuum has so much more power than my past corded vacuums, it is easy to handle, the head is low enough to go under my furniture, it is easy to empty and it doesnt give me a backache as my others have. The battery lasts long enough for me to do our 1850 sq foot house end to end. We have hardwood floors with scattered wool area rugs and having the vacuum adjust to each new surface without my help is pretty darned neat and IT WORKS. We live in the Rocky Mountains, so we have an additional season....the season of mud. We have two cats and two dogs that love the outdoors and come and and go freely through a pet door. So we have A LOT of dirt and A LOT of hair. I am not a happy house keeper. I want to do it once a week and be done with it. That leaves a few days of the week with some pretty dirty floors. Not anymore. This vacuum is so easy to use and so effective that I grab it often and keep the floors up. AND WOW does it pick stuff up and suck all the dirt out of my rugs. They are definitely brighter and I was surprised to be able to actually see a difference. I do not hesitate at all to recommend it.

Strong suction… light weight…. Hopefully I will be able to say the same in a few months!

Ive had this vacuum for a day and Im already hooked. Its super easy to vacuum any surface from stairs to the cat tree. No messing with cords and its lighter than a plug-in vacuum. I love all the attachments and that theres a clip to attach two attachments to the broom so I dont have to go to the base station to get them. I finally pulled the trigger on a nice vacuum because the Bissell Id had the last few years kept shooting dirt and cat litter back at my feet instead of picking it up. This one sucks just about everything up! I like the different power modes. The base station is easy to install and use. My one complaint about it is that not all the attachments fit on it. I would love to have all the attachments in one place but theres only room for two. On top of that, the other two wouldnt fit if I tried - theres no clearance with the wall. It would be awesome to have a base station that could fit all the attachments. The only other complaint I have, and the main reason for the 4 star rating, is that the handle creates a pressure point between my thumb and forefinger when Im vacuuming and its uncomfortable. Basically most of the weight rests on that point on my hand. Considering everything else, this vacuum is still excellent and the pros absolutely outweigh the cons. Id buy it again!

I read reviews here and talked to friends with Dyson stick vacs and laughed when I read I use it every day! because there was no way I was going to vacuum EVERY day! But guess what?? I really do use it every day because it is so quick and easy to grab it and run it over the rug or that pet hair tumbleweed making its way down the hardwood hallway. I have FOUR pets. In the past, Id vacuum about once a week, or when the rug got so gross that I just couldnt stand it anymore and Id get out the Dyson Ball Animal (about 10+ years old and still awesome!) and clean it. That vac is amazing, dont get me wrong. But my new V11 Animal stick vac is just SOOO easy! Its a little top heavy, but that is to be expected. It has great suction and gets at that dog and cat hair with no problems. Super easy to empty. I keep it on auto and I really can tell when it switches for the rug and the floor - its very convenient! I dont have to change the heads for the wood vs carpet. It wont replace my big Dyson for major messes, but it will be used way more often. Ps. I bought a stand for it here off Amazon and it sits in my coat closet with its big brother. EDIT: This thing emits a sound that dogs cannot stand! I thought my dog was just crazy until we adopted a second dog recently and it drives him crazy, too. As soon as its on he starts barking. Even from the other room when he could not see it, he still barks like crazy. Stop it and he stops barking. That wont make me love it any less, but something to be aware of.

PROS: - The suction is as good as our kirby and Oreck 1300. It beats both when you add in its maneuverability. Really impressed. - I thought holding in the switch would be an issue but it isnt at all. Its very light. In fact, its hard to even pick it up without turning it on. - Battery life is amazing. Ive never run it down, even when I did all the hardwood and tile on boost mode. - LOVE Auto mode. Genius. CONS: - I found small particles like litter get spun out from the torque head on tile. So I purchased the V10 soft roller head for hardwood and tile (Note that Auto mode doesnt work with it). - The weight gets to me if I do all the hardwood and tile floors at once, and our house is small (1500sqft w/~60% tile or hardwood). Part of it might be the wheels on the V10 soft roller head move *so* easy I think I expend more energy just keeping it where I want it. Maybe thats why they got rid of it on the V11. I dont have an issue with the weight when using the torque head on carpet. - I dont like the brush attachments on the dyson. The bristles are just one row and have large gaps which lets a lot of air escape, significantly reducing the suction. I was surprised at this. I looked for aftermarket brushes but they just copy the dyson design. Luckily one of my old brush heads fit. - This is so convenient I find that I vacuum more often A tip I found for rugs - put it in Eco mode and open the vent in the torque head (red switch). Then it doesnt pull the rug up into the torque head. That works just as well as the soft roller.

Ive never had a cordless vacuum before. Ive had a corded Dyson for several years, and it was time to get a new one. I did my research, and landed on the V11 Animal. There are other versions of the V11 that just have more attachments, but I know Im only going to use 2 or 3 of them, anyway, so this one was perfect. Im impressed how long the battery lasts. I almost bought the V11 Outsize, because of it having 2 batteries, but I figured that the area I need to vacuum wasnt that big, and one battery would probably work just fine. I was right. Im vacuuming about 1800 sq ft, with a mix of tile and carpet, and the battery indicator didnt even go down. There are 3 bars of battery life. I figured it would at least go down to 2 by the time I had finished, but all 3 were still lit. I do have more tile than carpet, and on auto mode, it does automatically use lower power for the tile and higher power for the carpet, and the couch. This thing is great. I was a bit worried that the smaller head was going to be a problem, where Id have to make more passes to cover the same area as my old corded vacuum, but its fine. In fact, because the head is not so wide, I can vacuum places under furniture, etc. that I couldnt reach before without switching to one of the attachments. All in all, this is a great machine. Ive been really impressed with Dysons technology.
