I have used it for 4 years now since I moved to this rust belt state. It has really saved my vehicles from rust. Works great.

Fluid film is easy to apply using the spray-on application kit. Its a must for any vehicle or machinery that operates in a corrosive environment. Vehicles are ridiculously expensive these days, so it only makes sense to protect them from the damage caused by salt spray. Fluid Film, if applied properly, will slow down the rust & corrosion that destroys vehicles up here in the Northeast.

Use the Fluid Film Pro undercoating gun to apply this stuff as an undercoating or rust preventative. See my review of that product for more on my long term test I will be reporting back on. I can say it goes on well, does not dry or create a dry shell. I can say this makes a great lubricant that fills the void between light oil and grease. I used it on my tractor 3 point hitch components and moving parts, lubing all of the pins on my attachments that live outdoors. Things slide and move easier now making things easy to put on and take off. It is easy on the hands, too. It stays like a heavy oil, which makes it likely to do well as a rust proofer as well. Time will tell if it makes a difference long term, and I will check back in with my results. If I were Fluid Film, Id do a test vehicle and treat the passenger side (gutter side) with this product and do nothing to the other side. Show customers the difference after 5-8-10+ years online. If their product works, it would sell itself then. I would rate the product 5 stars if there were clear data about how effective it can be. For my part, I have no plans to do only half of my Silverado, and I have coated all areas I can access, so well see how long it takes old man winter to rust the treated areas. I will report back as time marches on with results.

Use this every fall in preparation for winter and the terrible solutions our government puts in the roads. This helps protect the metal from corrosive nature of these solutions.

Easy to spray and not the black undercoating Clear, would recommend

Fluid film is awesome. Its messy to apply with the spray system but my 3 year old truck looks like new underneath. I buy it cheaper from a local store now. The price here is too high. I touch it up every year.

Holy crap this stuff works ! I sprayed it on my rusty truck and it soaked right in . If you get on your exhaust pipe it’s going to burn off and make a funny smell for a while . I noticed a couple days later that the rust started falling off my truck . At least the loss stuff . So I sprayed again . I used a whole gallon for two applications on the same vehicle. I think it was worth it . I’ve never tried anything else to judge it by . But just looking under my truck shows it looks 100 times better . And I plan on using it on all our vehicles every year

The gallon can I ordered never came in, however; I have a gallon that I had previously purchased. The spray cans are easier to use for multiple applications ( boat motor, door hinges, trailers etc.). This fall I plan on spraying the undercoat of my vehicles and have no worry about the performance of F2F. This can finally be found in Lowes and HD. Previously it couldnt be purchased anywhere except for Marine type store. Ive been using the product for 15 yrs.

Im a believer i sprayed the underside of my truck frame and body to help preserve it from rotting away as Im partially restoring the truck and want to keep it for the long haul! This stuff works great! I used a cheap paint gun from tractor supply sprayed at 55 psi it works well! Leaves a thick film of oil on what ever you spray it on! I also love the way it smells ! Im hooked on this stuff! Its an awesome product and I highly recommend you use it on your vehicle or any thing else that needs a little oil! Its great for every thing! . The paint sprayer worked however I recommend the fluid film pro kit as it includes hoses and tubes to attach for those hard to reach places that was the one draw back of using a paint sprayer instead of the fluid film gun. I Will getting one for next time !

The Gallon is enough for 3-4 Applications of my Jeep. Applying via a Gun/air is a bit messy, but, worth the effort. For those who have yet to apply, it is gooey, smelly and the first few drives, a bunch of white smoke. What I gain is an under carriage blocked from Salt, yuck, mud, water, sand and whatever else your frame can get off the road. So, a little work saves your vehicle for a long time. I also spray it on my Mower decks.
