Wow this stuff smell like sheep, and it should cause it comes from sheep. Anyhow the wife didnt like the smell when I first sprayed it on and complained a bit. I on the other hand, love this stuff. I used a graco airless sprayer to get it coated under my F350 which was showing lots of rusting. It has a weird viscosity where if you stir it up it thins out but once it settles, it thickens. It leave an oily (like lamb oil) on the surface, but doesnt come off. Seems to semi-solidify. I probably over sprayed it, but it used about 2/3 gallon on my Truck. Definitely think its worth it. There might be some other uses for it also, like boots and belts and rubbing on your hands to waterproof them (maybe poison ivy proof them.

Good stuff, priced right and very ease to apply. A bonus is that it is also a rust preventive which the old black rubber stuff just covers the rust up. Also if you have a nice under-body, shocks, suspension, etc., you dont want to cover all that expensive stuff with black rubber. This leaves everything its original color. Down side is might not last the entire winter in the wheel wells if you pressure wash the salt and snow often. Up side is salt and snow dont stick to it very well.

Used for rustproofing my TJ jeep. Time will tell but it appears like it will work good. Goes on easily. Easy to clean up The gallon can did leak in shipping.

I wanted to undercoat my 2019 Toyota 4runner, knew about the product, just wasnt sure how much work it be. With the right gun I spent $89.95 for kellersport gun, it went on really easily, took about an hour. Just used cardboard underneath, make sure you buy a mask/respirator. The mask/respirator was like $30, well worth it, as I use it for several tasks. Yes it does stink but the smell goes away in a few days. It does really stick to the frame. I was so impressed went ahead and undercoated my 1997 T100 for kicks.

Seems to apply well. Works better when fluid is warm. Time will tell if it prevents rust.

Use the Fluid Film Pro undercoating gun to apply this stuff as an undercoating or rust preventative. See my review of that product for more on my long term test I will be reporting back on. I can say it goes on well, does not dry or create a dry shell. I can say this makes a great lubricant that fills the void between light oil and grease. I used it on my tractor 3 point hitch components and moving parts, lubing all of the pins on my attachments that live outdoors. Things slide and move easier now making things easy to put on and take off. It is easy on the hands, too. It stays like a heavy oil, which makes it likely to do well as a rust proofer as well. Time will tell if it makes a difference long term, and I will check back in with my results. If I were Fluid Film, Id do a test vehicle and treat the passenger side (gutter side) with this product and do nothing to the other side. Show customers the difference after 5-8-10+ years online. If their product works, it would sell itself then. I would rate the product 5 stars if there were clear data about how effective it can be. For my part, I have no plans to do only half of my Silverado, and I have coated all areas I can access, so well see how long it takes old man winter to rust the treated areas. I will report back as time marches on with results.

I’m a first time user and it was real easy to apply to the inner frame of my vehicle. I will reserve judgment on rating it for longevity and value for a few years.

Was able to do 2 full size trucks with one gallon. Recommend you buy the gun to spray this stuff. I bought the wool wax pro gun and it worked great. This stuff is thick like peanut butter. I warmed it up in front of a torpedo heater and it’s still slow pouring through a funnel into the spray cups.

Exactly what I was looking for. With a sprayer this stuff is easy to apply. Sprays into a fine mist but sticks like a past. Penetrates well also. I have also noticed that water beads up well on the surfaces where applied. I will surely apply this stuff every year since I live in the Midwest.

I cant yet comment on how well it works - its been on the car only for 4 days. I used a 3 brush to apply it, which was tiring (car was on ramps in front. I later drove the rear onto 2x6s (doubled to get 3 lift) to do the back end of my car (I didnt try the ramps for the rear wheels). Getting the car up higher would have made it easier (finding/hiring a shop to do it would be even easier!). It seems to stay oily, it does not harden to a wax, to my surprise. Hard to believe it wont wash off after a few car washes, but we shall see. It is lighter than paint (the can is light). Its moderately thick - when you stir it with a paint/stirring stick, the top surface (barely) holds its shape after stirring.,,like a very thick gravy but not quite as thick as grease. It goes on thin though (unless you purposely glob it on and do not spread it), like a hot wax. Im using it on my new 2013 Ford Focus (which I did not drive it last winter). Quite a bit of the car is already covered by plastic aero covers and the engine bay has a felt cover under it (and cars do not rust up there anyhow). rockers are also well covered, and some of the car had the bumpy factory undercoating, which I did not cover with fluid film. I covered the rear springs well but it was hard to get the fronts - the well that they are in is a tight fit. -> I therefore strongly suggest you also buy a can or two of the spray to more easily coat hard to reach areas such as the coil springs. I also covered the bottom few inches of the doors (inner side of course). A day or two earlier, I (silicone) caulked the bottom of the doors - Ford does not weld the bottom lip! I also caulked the top edge of the rocker covers to ensure water does not get under there. The car is driven around Syracuse, NY - the perfect test site. Its often the snowiest (and saltiest) city of over 100k population. Cars still rust here, often visibly after 7 years. My last car (not just mine, all of them rusted) had a lot of rust by 7 years underneath, holes in the rocker panels after 10 years, and the rear jacking areas were too weak after 9 or 10 years. I drove it 5 more years.
