Greater than one weekI wanted to undercoat my 2019 Toyota 4runner, knew about the product, just wasnt sure how much work it be. With the right gun I spent $89.95 for kellersport gun, it went on really easily, took about an hour. Just used cardboard underneath, make sure you buy a mask/respirator. The mask/respirator was like $30, well worth it, as I use it for several tasks. Yes it does stink but the smell goes away in a few days. It does really stick to the frame. I was so impressed went ahead and undercoated my 1997 T100 for kicks.

22-11-2024I just bought it and have applied it to a bunch of rusty stuff. Chips in my trucks paint, rusty hitch receiver, rust on my bumper other random stuff. Have intentions of spraying it underneath the truck. So far, seems to work. It stinks. I can not offer a long term evaluation at this point. I will come back in a yr or two and report back.

> 3 dayI’m a first time user and it was real easy to apply to the inner frame of my vehicle. I will reserve judgment on rating it for longevity and value for a few years.

Greater than one weekHas kept my 2006 F150 rust free. Must be reapplied annually in areas the can be washed off. Better than undercoating that can encapsulate a problem unseen. not a strong lasting smell, but a funky smell no less. Great product that does nothing to change the vehicle from what the factory intended it to be. Undercoating once applied is there whether its a good thing or bad. I like this solution for protection.

> 3 dayThis is my first experience with undercoating but since I bought a gently used Chevy 2500HD and I live in northern Ohio I felt that I should protect my vehicle for the long haul. Firstly, I overbought. I got 2 gallons and planned on doing my truck, a small suv and a Honda Fit. Well after heating up the oil and using a spray gun, I used a single canister which I believe to be about 32 oz on my truck, that figure counts for 2 coats as well. I’m not too sure on some of you saying you used a whole gallon because I can’t see how that’s feasible unless it was brushed on (definitely not spending that kind of time on that big of a vehicle.) all in all, I have plenty of product for the next few years at least. The viscosity from the cold initially was like pudding but after heating it up with a turbo heater it became very maple syrup like. Do that and you’ll have no issues. Use a tarp too! It protects from overspray and you can easily slide around on the concrete lol Update March 2019 The rust proofing seemed to stay on during the winter. My fine mist did well from what the eye can see and as a tester to see how long it would last, I put it on the face of my tires much like a tire shine, and when I get my truck washed the tires still shine where I applied it! So screw all other tire foams just use this. I’ll be applying it again next fall for sure. Also it appears the price fluctuated based on demand by $10 so something to consider. I think the next time I apply the product I’ll try to find another way to make it very thin and sprayable, like a heating probe or a hot knife tool? I’m open to suggestions because kerosene is expensive and smelly. Good product!!

> 3 dayIve been using this product for a few years now. I undercoat my truck in the fall before winter. I also use it on a variety of tools and machinery. The most wonderful thing about this is that its all natural. I dont worry about where it ends up (i.e. my hands, floor, overspray, pets, kids, etc. ) It also works really well for its intended purpose of repelling water/snow/ice and retarding rust. I will keep using it and have found no downside.

> 3 dayonce a year, lay it on to every nook and cranny...frame,rockers,hidden inner fenders, tailgate, doors, cab mounts, springs, control arms.....everything. your vehicle will last thru the years and look like it was driven where there are no salty winters. spray on rubberized undercoating spells death to cars around here in the NE! fluid film once a year is the answer and cheapest insurance you can spray on
