Great product. My son-in-law just love his new VoltAlert gadget. Says its the best one to buy and was very glad that AMAZON had it. Says he looked for it everywhere and couldnt find it.

There is one flaw that from time to time it doesnt work suddenly. After I shake it hard or beat it against something, it functions again. So there is a problem in electrical connection.

Been looking for a tick tester without a power switch that was not obnoxiously chirping every step I took as it bounced around on my tool belt. Every tick tester Ive owned failed at the on/off switch. It is very accurate as to which conductor is hot. Way less than any other tester, possibly no false positives as of yet. I highly recommend this product.

My previous Fluke sniffer finally wore out after 15 years of medium use, so replaced it with the same model. I have used other brands and the fluke is the best out there. The battery life is awesome and it is extremely easy to use. This is a must have tool when working in electrical panels.

It is too sensitive

I work on commercial washer and dryers, Breakers arent always accurate, when your working with 240 and 440 you need to know for sure when electricity is off. Youll find your butt sitting on the floor if you arent careful. A good way to make sure the electricity is off is use the Fluke tester.
