Easy to use and last longer than other brands.

I like this one because it has the beep when it finds power. The other version says it beeps in the description, but it does not actually beep.

AAA batteries leak so easily, and anybody designing with these AAA should be held liable for their product damage. The instrument is useless once the leak sets in the batteries, unfortunately fairly frequently.

The only minor worry is sometimes if youre probing wires in a grounded box, if the tip is close to ground AND a live wire, it may give a false negative. Tracing the wire around a bit is required if youre in that situation, but for terminals, outlets and the like, its super easy.

Dont go cheap. This is the best voltage detector and works fantastic. There is a reason that fluke is used by experts. Very easy to use and very reliable.

This item works as advertised. It beeps when voltage is present. It beeps when it automatically shuts down to save the battery. It is a good value.

i like the on/off & buzzer enable p.b. sw. the buzzer tho not loud, will be helpful if breaker is in next room. 5 min. idle off feature. probe end will support tester in outlet. the batt. compartment is difficult to open but since some circuitry will be exposed, and the high voltage rating, this is a good thing.

Perfect to keep in the pocket, accurate and easy to use
