Greater than one weekSmall, light and easy to keep handy. Great to isolate live v. dead wires and then shut off power rather than power down and using a multi-meter to ID wires.

> 3 dayI love everything about this tester. I like how it has a beep and no beep option, blinks to let you know when its on, and automatically shuts off after a period of inactivity to save battery. Way better than any of the home depot ones. Would highly recommend.

> 3 dayI bought a GB brand tester from ace and it is too sensitive giving false positives...junk. This fluke works way better a re-modelers dream.

Greater than one weekI cant afford a lot (OK, any) Fluke equipment for home, but this was affordable and it stands up to Flukes reputation for great equipment. Its easy to use, reliable and just works. Ive been very happy with it.

> 3 dayFor this product to detect a live current, the probe needs to be in direct contact; either inserted into an outlet, or in direct contact with a live wire. It will not signal a live current just by being in close proximity to same, as some other testers will do. Otherwise, its a handy tool, easily fits in a pocket, and so far has been reliable.

Greater than one weekIt might have saved our lives. I bought this based on a YouTube video about RV trailer hot skins. As soon as it arrived I read the instructions. They were somewhat confusing, but I finally figured them out. I tested the Fluke on a live outlet according to the instructions, then used it on my trailer. It indicated a problem with the outside of my trailer. After a thorough investigation, I determined we had internal wiring issues that were causing the outside of my trailer to become electrified. We remedied the situation asap. We had no idea there was any existing issue. Scary, but now fixed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ALL RVers.
