This worked perfectly. The button on my husbands remote (one that came with opener 12 years ago) and would not work anymore. We went to the local garage door store and they wanted $60 for a replacement like the old one. Way too much! So I saw this one on Amazon and read that it was compatible to our opener and was way cheaper. It took no time to sync it with our opener and I love it!

after getting a new car and needing another opener, i decided to get a chamberline opener. It was sleek shiny black, and a big mess. Absolute nightmare to program. The genie took 15 seconds, and has not failed yet... great product

Wasn’t so easy to install, but once I figured it out the second wasn’t so bad. Really only took me 20 ish minutes to set up. I love that it small & can be put onto my keys if I wanted.

This is such a nice upgrade from my old clunky remote. Very simple to program once I figured out where the “Learn” button was on my opener machine itself. I had to take the light cover off to locate it. I had Googled the model of my machine and it was very easy to do after locating the owners manual online.

To start... these are nice. Small! 3 separate buttons to program. They can be put on a key chain or you can attach the clip that comes with it to put this on a car visor or something like that. The only caution I have for this is the power. These are not strong. The programmable one built into my car can open and close my garage door from about twice as far away. Thats not to say I have to be standing AT the door for it to work. But 10-12 feet away is about as far as it reliably works for me.

Had planned to purchase a homelink for a newly leased car. Found out it was going to be a special order, so decided to go with the Genie remote instead. Thanks to a helpful review it was easy to install and I saved a ton of money.

GENIE G3T-R 3-Button Remote. Range is very good. Buttons are the issue. Very, very light touch to activate. No click or tactile feedback that button has been pressed. If you carry your remote on a key chain or on your FOB ring, you will be triggering the remote when putting it into your pocket or purse. If the buttons were recessed or needed more pressure to activate this would not be a problem. I will be shopping for an alternate remote and discarding this one.
