We have ordered this garage opener for every house we buy. It is easy to program and reliable.

We had been sharing a single Genie garage door opener between my wife and I. I should have gotten this sooner. It doesnt impact the programming of the other remote. Instructions are okay. I ended up watching a YouTube video (seriously 30 seconds long) on how to sync with the garage door opener. Easy-peezy.

When I took it out along with the instruction came with it, it was so poorly written, and I gave it up. I googled it and found a programming instruction on Genie website. It literally took me 1 minute to put out a ladder, 1 minute to program and it works with my garage door opener, and another minute to program it to work with my second garage door opener. This just illustrated how bad the technical writing of the instruction by some probably English majored nerds. Updates: it has been working ok. One thing I did not mention in my original review is operating distance. It is very SHORT: I have to be right infront of my garage door to use it. If I have driven away a few feet from the garage door, it wouldnt work, I have to back my car a bit in order to close the garage door.

Exactly the same as my previous one, very easy to set up (less than 5min) and now I have one for each car.

I bought one for all three of our cars. It is so convenient to be able to open both of our garage doors no matter which car we are in. The set up was easy and only took me 5 minutes for three remotes and two garage doors. I would highly recommend them.

I have an old (early 2000s) Genie opener and this remote works fine with it. Good: - range is better than Clicker universal remote - much smaller and nicer looking than the original style (GIT-1) that I was initially trying to find. Bad: - a little slower to activate the door (1 second delay) - The buttons give no tactile feedback when pressed.

I needed a third controller for my Genie 2028 garage door opener and this matches the two that came with it. Set up took less than 5 minutes.
