> 3 dayInstalled in less than 30 seconds! For my model I didnt need the instructions provided. All I had to do was remove the white cover from the opener. Pull the strip from the remote. Push the black button to the left of the light bulb. Press my desired button on the remote once and release. Press that same button to operate. 2nd remote same process. Both work great! Took me longer to carry and open the ladder.

> 3 dayExactly what I wanted and it is the exact same one that I got with my garage door opener. Easy to program and I like that you can put it on a key fob.

> 3 dayNot really many options anymore for these remotes. I have the older style as well as these. Both control new & old style garage doors. Both have similar range. Only draw back is that the buttons on these are very close together and when you have multiple doors programmed , it is easy to open the wrong door. Unobstructed range is about 125 feet, could possible be designed for both visor and key chain .

> 3 dayHave a genie garage door opener for years. Just got a car that has Homelink (programming for garage from cars). Could not get remotes I had with opener to work with Homelink at all. After research (and there is also a video on this), two things have to be right. Your Genie garage door opener has to be a certain minimum level serial number (checks on Genies website) to work and (2) - the remote opener (ie looks like this unit here) cannot be software version 2.0.3. This is not software you install or a firmware you can update, but rather a number that is inscribe into the plastic when you remove the metal clip (just pulls out and the number is listed as SW:2.0.X. If X is a 3 (eg SW 2.0.3), then forget trying to program Homelink. It will NOT work. I tried multiple times and finally found information on why (I had SW 2.0.3). Genies states it will not work, you have to change the remotes. I bought this new remote (it was at SW 2.0.5) and it programmed the Car and worked flawlessly the first time. As a side note, when you must program this new remote first to the genie opener, then once it works, you can set up your car. Also, I have now programmed all 3 buttons on the remote so I dont have to guess which one will open the door (sounds trivial, but did not know you could program all 3 buttons to work on the same opener).

> 3 dayWe ended up buying four remotes and they all work great. Our door is 20+ years old and they all were super easy to sync up. I can be down the street pulling up to the house and they will open the door. Just be sure to have someone help you when setting them up because I think the trick to getting the rang to work correctly is to have someone standing with the remote at least 6 feet away from the unit while syncing.

Greater than one weekShearched for ages for a small remote for my Overhead Door Legacy model opener. I found a larger two button some time ago that worked with it, and was looking for a smaller replacement. THIS IS IT. Tried for a few moments to connect it out of the package to no avail, then I checked to ensure noone was looking and I read the instructions. I had to change the programming to intellicode 1. This is as easy as holding the button down for ten seconds, then double clicking the same button. Went back to the garage door, hit the program button and now I have two awesome small remotes to put my postcard sized granny remotes in storage! When in doubt RTFM!
