Easy to program - thought I would have a problem utilizing this with an old system, but took just a few minutes to sync the two! Compact and much easier to carry than the bulky old door remotes. Bought two a few months ago and both have performed flawlessly! Went back today to buy two more and was shocked to find that the price had almost doubled over the last 2 months - would love to hear the rationalization for this .......Simply ridiculous.

I purchased two of these when my wife and I bought a new house. It had a garage door opener with no remotes. This one was moderately priced and compatible with our unit. It shipped quickly and was a breeze to set up. The only down side is that the remotes range is very limited. It works if my car is in the driveway in front of the house or in the garage, but almost never from the street (a paltry 30 feet away). As I said, we bought 2 and both behave exactly the same. I have to admit that it COULD be the batteries, because I have not changed either, but I find it unlikely that both openers would have come with dead batteries. Also, the indicator lights always flash--and brightly--when the buttons are pressed. In the end, I am happy with the price of the device, and I can make the limited range work. Due to inconvenience, however, the product loses two stars.

Works great, exactly what was needed for my Genie opener.

This remote programmed EASILY with my 15 year old Genie garage door opener. Its signal is not as strong as my regular remote, meaning I have to be closer to the door to open it than before...BUT, the benefit of having the remote on my keychain and not on my visor (begging to be stolen) FAR outweighs the slight inconvenience of the weaker signal. I highly recommend this product. If you keep your garage remote in your vehicle along with your registration, insurance card, or anything else showing your address, you may as well leave a house key in there for potential burglars. Get a mini remote and keep it on your keychain.

These replace my damaged garage opener. Easy to use and to program. Takes batteries. No issues.

I like it because they are quite compact compared to their predecessors. The range is about 15-20 feet from the door. I also like them because I can easily put it together with my car key fob rather than sticking it on the sun-visor as Id do with my previous remotes (which is also creates security risks, especially if you park your car on the drive-way over night then it becomes easy target for thieves to break into your home). The instructions to program the remote were very simple and took less than a minute. The product works as expected.

The controller works very well. It was easy to code to our garage door. Works as described.
