> 3 dayThis remote works perfectly with the exception of opening my garage from time to time when keys are in my pocket and one of the buttons on it mistakenly gets pressed. I didnt consider this when I bought it and ended up removing it from my keychain. The thought of carrying a garage opener in my pocket is a wonderful thought (which I will continue to research), but this one works too well if theres a such a thing. Outside of the pocket issue, this remote works perfectly. I have two different garage doors I need for it to open and once programmed, it works flawlessly.

> 3 dayBought this for my other vehicle and it works just as advertised. Programming was a snap and have not had any problems with the remote at this time. Will say I have to get somewhat close to the garage like right before I get to my driveway before it starts to open but it’s no biggie.

> 3 dayI bought 2 of these for my Genie Excelarator Model #ISD995 screw type garage door opener. It is well over 7 years old. I had the big 3 button remotes that came with the unit which were OK but when riding my motorcycle a bit bulky. I can carry this remote on my keychain and it works flawlessly. No accidental garage door openings in the middle of the night as the old black style keychain remotes. The rubber buttons take a little more effort hich is why these work better and will not accidentally open you garage as you leave or sit down with the remote in your pocket. Tip 1, when you push the learn button push it for only 1 second. If you push and hold it for 10 seconds like I did, you will wipe out the momory of your outside wall mounted remote unit and that one is a bit tricky to program. Tip 2,To program this unit under review, open the light cover on your overhead unit, locate and push the learn button for one second and observe the flashing LED on your overhead unit. Push the remote key once, LED Goes solid, and then press the same remote control button again, your done. Its that simple. I really like this little unit, have one in both cars.

> 3 dayThis product would be great..... if it actually worked on ALL Genie Door Openers as stated. !!! VERY IMPORTANT !! Before you order a new remote do the following: Verify that your Genie Garage Door Opener has a Learn or Program button. Most, but Not ALL have this button, therefore this remote will not work. I did finally find a Genuine Genie Remote that A) Operates multple openers and B) is programmable by use of DIP (9 or 12) switches. The home I just purchased was built in 2004 so I thought it was a safe to assume that the openers were built in roughly a couple years (+/-) and had the Learn/Prgram button. Gave the Genie remote customer service rep (via phone) the Model # and the issue of not being able to locate the LED Program/Learn light(s). After a couple minutes he indicated that there were some units built after 1997 that DID NOT have a learn/button, and therefore this remote could not be used. After all was said and done. I contacted Genie )via email) in search of a remote that would work as described above, New correct remotes on their way,,, Ill review them once programmed.

> 3 dayWhen my last garage door remote was lost a local garage door repairman directed me to a local store for a replacement. I found this model at the store and was about to make the purchase when I decided to look on Amazon first. I saved a few bucks buying it on Amazon. I’m 73 and not very mechanically inclined, but after carefully reading the instructions several times and then following them step by step everything worked the first try!

> 3 dayEasy to program, purchased to add remotes to additional vehicles so we didn’t have to keep a “traveling” remote. Programmed really easily and works as expected.
