> 3 dayRead lots of reviews and looked at other models and brands. Decided to go for these and I’m happy. Range is good, at least half of our neighborhood block away, these still open my door. The buttons are fairly easy to press as compared to a few other similar small remotes I have had in the past. Overall I am really happy with this purchase, I do wish there was better “click” feedback upon depressing the buttons. But this is a minor deal. Also wish seller could drop the price a few more bucks.

> 3 dayThe Genie G3T-R Intellicode remote is the purest manifestation of the American Dream I have come across in this rotten year 2016. Amidst the simpering politicians, the unpredictable climate, the wars, famine, and all signs that were rapidly speeding towards a gleeful extinction, I realized I needed a second garage door opener. The octogenarian who previously owned my house and had a penchant for Lands End and other similar faux-northeast lifestyle products had left me a solitary pathetic number that apparently came with the ancient Genie unit in my optimistically titled one and a half car garage. Shed also stranded a veritable arsenal of potting soils alongside three months worth of survival rations. The first time I opened that garage, I feared Id purchased some sort of suburban survivalist compound, and made a mental note to be heavily armed when I investigate the crawlspace under the house. There is a paucity of information on garage door openers. The liars, they want you to be confused. They want that door closed, and your car parked quietly in its place while youre on the couch sucking down reruns of Spongebob and American Idol. But no! Genie decided that you can have as many openers as your rotten heart desires. The unit itself is a miracle fusion of American design and cheap factory labor. The plastic holds firmly to your hand, but not too firmly. The rubberized buttons suggest that they will last for decades, even if abused and left in all manner of surly dive bars and underground boxing clubs. My particular unit leads a life of luxury, clipped to a beer glass that serves as a key holder in my kitchen. The metal clip is equally useful, and I briefly considered its potential use as a weapon. You can program the remote to work with three different openers. I paused briefly upon hearing this, and considered installing a set of triple-garage-doors. You cant be too careful, and a little fortification can go a long way. The range is good, too. All in all, a good opener for the price.

> 3 dayThe instructions indicate that only two of the three buttons may be used with my Genie Intellicode opener likely manufactured in 1995. Unfortunately, their diagram shows the unusable button as the bottom rather than the top button. Accommodated this change and programmed it according to the original opener instructions, and works O.K. As for range, I compared it to my original opener and found it worked fine at about 150. I wonder if the small battery ages quickly so that the range diminishes with age.

> 3 dayI had a different remote that rattled internally every time you hit the smallest bump, so kept it inconveniently in the glove box. This remote doesnt have that problem. Its very solid, and the buttons are rubber-like with a great feel. Works great.

> 3 dayThis product would be great..... if it actually worked on ALL Genie Door Openers as stated. !!! VERY IMPORTANT !! Before you order a new remote do the following: Verify that your Genie Garage Door Opener has a Learn or Program button. Most, but Not ALL have this button, therefore this remote will not work. I did finally find a Genuine Genie Remote that A) Operates multple openers and B) is programmable by use of DIP (9 or 12) switches. The home I just purchased was built in 2004 so I thought it was a safe to assume that the openers were built in roughly a couple years (+/-) and had the Learn/Prgram button. Gave the Genie remote customer service rep (via phone) the Model # and the issue of not being able to locate the LED Program/Learn light(s). After a couple minutes he indicated that there were some units built after 1997 that DID NOT have a learn/button, and therefore this remote could not be used. After all was said and done. I contacted Genie )via email) in search of a remote that would work as described above, New correct remotes on their way,,, Ill review them once programmed.
