Glad I bought this Remote — it works FAR better than the no name brand remote that I purchased a few months back. PROS: VERY good range for transmitting the open, & close signals!!! The generic remote had to be quite close to the garage door before it would be sensed by my Genie® IntelliCode® door-opener motor. THIS remote however works reliably from all the way out in the street; its signal is very strong. This is awesome! The only CON (and its not a show-stopper) is that there is little to no tactile feedback as to when youve pressed a button. In other words, there is no click, or no feedback that tells your finger that youve made contact with the button-press. But, not a huge deal as when you immediately see the garage door(s) opening, you can rightly assume the button made contact. I also like the design of the remote, the fact that you can clip it to your cars visor — OR put it on a key-ring. Being able to control (up to 3) garage doors from one singular small remote control is also great. Well worth the purchase price!!

I liked that it was not hard to program. I didnt like that there was no other way to program it besides getting on a ladder and doing it physically. But I think that is a garage door thing and not a garage door opener thing.

Purchased two remotes, one box was opened with everything in the prime box bouncing around. That remote is visibly used, faded, had dirt on it and a dead battery. Returned.

We couldnt not setup the homelink button on our car no matter how many times we tried with the other type of garage door opener remote by genie. While it worked flawlessly in opening closing the garage door, programming the homelink was impossible. This model however made programming the homelink button instant. If you are having problems with setting up your car homelink button with your current genie remote, get this right away.

These replace my damaged garage opener. Easy to use and to program. Takes batteries. No issues.

Bought two of these and wish I hadnt Oh, theyre made by Genie for the Intellicode garage door opener but in my opinion the buttons are much too sensitive to carry it in your pocket as a key fob and thats what I was after. I was opening and closing garage doors whenever I bent over or twisted. They are extremely well made though, work perfectly, program easily and can operate three different Genie doors. Plus they came with a metal clip you could use on the visor of your vehicle. Just too large for me compared to the smaller Linear. The large button on the 3 button Linear made for the Intellicode is sensitive as well but it has too smaller buttons that dont tend to activate every time you move. Plus the Linear is smaller than the Genie.

Buttons are easy to touch and soft, too. Very easy to program. For our 15 year old garage door , this was perfect remote for it

This is an original remote made by Genie so of course it works perfectly. Dont try to save $5 by purchasing a knockoff, you will be disappointed when it only works sometime.
