It was perfect same as the original. Install was down right easy the instructions were in the box and if you can read basic English you can understand. Quick review push a button on your garage door opener and then your new remote Voilà done!

If you have an existing Genie unit, this was a super easy install that took about 3 minutes. The longest part was setting up the ladder. Worth the money.

This product would be great..... if it actually worked on ALL Genie Door Openers as stated. !!! VERY IMPORTANT !! Before you order a new remote do the following: Verify that your Genie Garage Door Opener has a Learn or Program button. Most, but Not ALL have this button, therefore this remote will not work. I did finally find a Genuine Genie Remote that A) Operates multple openers and B) is programmable by use of DIP (9 or 12) switches. The home I just purchased was built in 2004 so I thought it was a safe to assume that the openers were built in roughly a couple years (+/-) and had the Learn/Prgram button. Gave the Genie remote customer service rep (via phone) the Model # and the issue of not being able to locate the LED Program/Learn light(s). After a couple minutes he indicated that there were some units built after 1997 that DID NOT have a learn/button, and therefore this remote could not be used. After all was said and done. I contacted Genie )via email) in search of a remote that would work as described above, New correct remotes on their way,,, Ill review them once programmed.

Needed an extra opener for the garage door for when I walk the dogs, this was simple to program and works every time. Couldnt ask for a better product.

I’m so glad that we can finally get a smaller footprint garage door opener. It works well and programming was a breeze (after I threw away the instructions). I would advise anyone that is buying this to throw away the instructions. Seriously, throw them away. They are worthless and make something easy difficult. I could not program this by the instructions yet watched a 1 minute video on YouTube and then programmed it within seconds.

Bought this for my daughter, who started driving, in addition to the ones we have in our other vehicles. It was super easy to sync with garage door opener!

This is the 4th Genie Universal self-programming garage door opener that I have purchased through Amazon. All 4 are the SAME model # and brand. Programs with ease. Buttons are functional and worked flawlessly. I maintain about a 1-2 block radius when approaching my home and the remote opens the garage door on the first push every time. Comes with a very sturdy stainless steel visor clip, which makes it easier not to lose in the vehicle. No issues, no complains in regards to this garage door opener. It is programmable for up to 3 different doors, I currently have two devices that are multi-programmed, and there is no interference or issues with that setup. I would certainly purchase a fifth and many more should I need to obtain more than the four that I own.

Our new garage door opener came with only one remote opener. Since we have two cars, we were making due with an old remote from the previous unit. That began to not work more than work, so we checked out the selection of remotes and prices. This remoter was identical to the one with the new unit, from the company, and easily sold thru Amazon. Easy instructions were included and quickly we had an opener that operated the door with one gentle click. The only comment against the remote is that it is quite responsive to slight pressure and the door can open or close without a person realizing that it has be activated.
