> 3 dayBefore we bought the Grow, we bought a different home scale and weighed our son every week and it took up quite a bit of space in our son’s bathroom. I wish we had known about the Grow earlier because we would’ve saved so much space. We also used to track our son’s percentile manually on the WHO chart and plot his points along the way. With the Grow, we no longer have to manually chart his percentile or write his weight down. It is so much easier to have everything track all at once! I also love that I don’t have to use a changing pad cover anymore, I can just wipe it down and its good to go. The material is also nice because it isn’t too cold on my son’s bare skin. I will definitely be recommending this to all my mommy or soon to be mommy friends! It has definitely made it so much easier keeping track of our son’s weight! Totally worth the price and piece of mind!

> 3 daySo many people say “you don’t need a scale at home” or that it would drive me crazy watching my newborns weight. I almost didn’t buy it, but SO glad I did! I can weigh home whenever I want and don’t have to wait for doctor visits. Also the Hatch app this connects to is amazing. Keeps track of weight, feedings (formula or BF big), sleep, and diaper changes. It’s so nice!

Greater than one weekThis product is amazing!! My husband and I were having such anxiety about how much milk my baby was getting early on as I was breast feeding...this scale took all that anxiety away. I love weighing my son before and after feeds. Turns out, he eats, A LOT! I really feel like this product helped me not give up on breast feeding. Its a very sleek design and aesthetically pleasing. I dont like things that are too bulky: this product is the opposite. The app that you download with it is very user friendly...and I LOVE seeing my child grow on the growth curve. I look forward to continuing use of the product as my baby grows! I can imagine it would also be good to check my kids weight if he ever gets sick (vomiting, diarrhea) to make sure he is not losing weight. Overall, love the function and appearance of this product! Very happy with it! I am excited to use it for every kid I have!

> 3 dayWith my first child we had issues with weight gain in their early months. It resulted in many doctor visits to ensure they was steadily gaining. With our second child I wanted to prevent the need to get a newborn out simply for a weigh-in to ensure they were gaining. This product has provided me so much piece of mind in addition to convenience. Its also very accurate- my childs weight only differed an ounce from the doctors scale when used the same day. The scale is easy to use and the corresponding Hatch app that tracks feedings, diapers, and weigh-ins is very helpful. Worth the money!

> 3 dayNothing occupied my mind more as a new mother more than wanting to ensure I was producing enough milk and that my babies were gaining sufficient weight. For my first baby, I had to lug him across the city to use the scales at the peds office and all of the available baby scales were hard and hard to use. Im so glad Hatch Baby created the Grow, I consider it an essential tool for breastfeeding mamas. The Grow is an amazingly helpful tool for easing new mothers minds and the ability to track multiple data points is awesome. And in addition to it being an incredibly useful item, its also so nice to look at and so easy to clean. The old days of having to wash multiple changing pad covers a day is gone. And this is so much more hygienic, since you can wipe it down after every change. Thanks for creating a beautiful, practical item, Hatch Baby!

> 3 dayThe Hatch Baby Grow is easy-to-use and stylish — but most importantly, it has helped relieve a lot of anxiety in our new family. Our son was born small and lost too much weight in his first few days, so our entire focus has been on fattening him up. When we first got home from hospital, it was very stressful feeding him without knowing how much weight he was actually gaining. My wife was recovering from a c-section, which made it very difficult to leave the house to weigh him regularly. I was surprised at how quick it was to set up and pair with our phones. I particularly like being able to track and review all of his key metrics — from his weight to his dirty nappies and bottles — in one easy-to-use app. As a bonus, my wife says the design looks great in the nursery, and its way easier to clean then having to battle fabric covers.

> 3 dayOkay, so I LOVED this scale in the beginning. My son need to gain weight his first 6 weeks and being able to weigh him frequently put me at ease. I also found it to be super accurate. I loved that it’s a changing pad too, an amazing dual concept which was why I purchased it. The reason for 3 stars is that I think scale is great for about 9 months, or up until your baby can start really moving around. I went to weigh my son recently (he’s just over a year old now) and the app told me there was a “critical issue” and I needed to contact Hatch. The customer service rep told me that the instrument in the scale was damaged beyond repair and offered a 20% discount to buy a new one because my 1 year warranty had expired about 6 weeks prior. The rep went on to explain how delicate the scale instrument was and when too much pressure is applied it can break the weighing mechanism. She said that if someone accidentally puts their hand on it while bending down to pick something up, the pressure can break the weighing mechanism. What was even more frustrating is that the customer service rep was able to give me a date range of when the scale was damaged — which actually was during the time frame where it was under warranty. But they still wouldn’t honer it — rather they upped the discount offer to 50% for a new one. Here is the thing, the scale/changing pad had not moved at all during this supposed trauma period. The only possible thing that could have damaged the scale is my son himself. He hates diapers changes and constantly try’s to flip on his belly and kicks around. I feel like calling this a scale and changing pad is unfair if the weight and pressure of a squirming toddler can break the scale component. After reading some other reviews, it seems like I’m not the only one who has experienced this. I really wish the delicate nature of the weighing component was better communicated to the end consumer by Hatch.

Greater than one weekSo yes, the scale is wonderful, easy to use ... a bit weird in that it does not have a display like most scales, and you have to zero nearly each time you use it. BUT ... I can overlook those items easily, since they would be costly and likely unnecessary, and most significantly, because the Hatch Baby app is so terrific! You can log a diaper type, WET or DIRTY, a feeding (bottle or breast, start and end times, amount down to the decimal point of ounces, and any special notes), sleep time complete with sleep timer, and so much more. This app frankly blows my mind ... its so intuitive and easy to use, even my babys grandma can do it :) If you like the scale, thats great, I do too ... but the app, with its Alexa command set and easy of use for recording and sharing a TON of details you might need for your doctor or other caregivers, is the real reason to buy this scale. Of course, you can get the app without the scale, so theres that ... but combined, its a great deal and one every new parent should consider.

> 3 dayDidn’t think we needed this but it ended up being super helpful in weighing our baby intermittently and also figuring out how much milk she drinks per feeding. Most of all it’s as their ally pleasing and each to clean if baby has an accident on it. The hatch app that is integrated with the product is EXCELLENT!! We use the hatch app to keep track of feedings, diapers, weight, and sleep. Even if you don’t buy this changing mat, I recommend using the hatch app!

> 3 dayThis scale costs 4x other baby scales but is accurate, reliable and comes with an app that is worth $100 in its own. So I look at this as an exceptional scale worth $100 that comes with an app worth $100 bundled together at a $50 discount. What’s not to live here? When you wake up at 2 am for a feeding and don’t which side was last or have long lost track of day of the week and how many , the app is golden, like your own feeding doula. Save yourself the trouble of logging the weight from other $50 scales I tried from Amazon and but the bullet on this beautiful piece of baby tech. Your sanity and sleep is worth many $100s.
