> 3 dayMy granddaughter was a preemie and my daughter needed something to monitor her weight. We were so happy to have found this. It works wonderful when child is breastfed also. Easier to monitor how much baby has consumed. Best gift I found for our preemie

Greater than one weekLove this product! My intent was to breastfeed my little one. However, when I brought him home, we had several issues including tongue tie, lack of milk supply and difficulties latching. It was disheartening to see how much time we would spend breastfeeding without knowing the actual results on demand. We would have to wait for the pediatricians appt to know if we were successful or not with weight gain from breast feeding. This was super stressful for a new mom. With the hatch baby grow, I can effectively monitor weight gain and how much my little one is drinking with each breast feeding session! Highly recommend!

Greater than one weekAs a breastfeeding mother with a baby that has reflux, feedings can be very difficult. My son would cry after every feeding, leaving me to wonder if hes still hungry or if its just the reflux. I knew I wanted a scale that could measure his feedings accurately and the Hatch advertises that it weighs to .25 ounces. However, I noticed early on that the scale was not accurate. At night, my baby is fed a bottle of pumped breast milk and I would always measure out 4 oz. in a bottle. However, when I would weigh my baby after the feeding, it consistently came up as 3.5 ounces. or even 3.25 ounces. I also once tried with a 1 ounce bottle and it showed up as taking in .5 ounces. When youre trying to calculate how much your baby is taking in per day over 8-10 feedings, a difference of .5-.75 ounces adds up. Some other cons: -Weight can only be checked with the app. This makes it easy to keep track of things as the data is stored on their app but its annoying at 2am when you cannot find your phone. Pros: -Great customer service -Sleek looking product -Nicely designed and easy to use app Ultimately, I decided to return this product due to the inaccuracy but would consider buying again if some enhancements were made to the product to fix it.

22-11-2024Bought this scale to do weighted feeds for my breastfed baby. She lost 2 oz, after a feed, per the scale. I think this scale can give you a ballpark idea of how much your baby weighs, but I would rely on its accuracy.

Greater than one week1. Nicely designed, simple and sturdy! The material grips any surface and you dont have to worry about it moving around. The design is also sleek and fits nicely on top of my babys dresser. 2. The smart scale is game changing. I had encountered so many feeding issues with my first baby that I knew I needed a scale at home with the second. I cant tell you how exhausting and stressful it was to go to the hospital every 2 days to check my babys weight and ensure he was getting enough milk. The scale and app work flawlessly and are pretty easy to use. 3. Its a changing pad too so one less bulky item to keep around! Very easy to clean which is a plus when you have a new born for sure. I highly recommend this product, especially for new moms. It will bring you so much reassurance and take the guessing out of a stressful situation!

> 3 dayThe Grow was a nice addition to our nursery. Its a sleek, functional changing pad that has given my husband and I peace of mind that our breastfed baby is growing well between doctors visits. It has been extremely helpful to know the range of how much milk baby takes at each feed as we are starting to introduce a bottle (to avoid over or underfeeding and wasting precious milk) and as I get ready to return to work so that I know what my goal is for pumping at work to meet babys needs. I really love the app from Hatch Baby for tracking weight, feeds, sleep, and diapers. Well done!

Greater than one weekThe grow is great. Its very helpful being able to measure our babys intake when breast feeding and also keep up on his weight between doctor visits. Its also a great value as a changing table. Its around the same price as the peanut yet you get all of the scale features as well -- a definite buy! Theres no real cons to this from my view -- I guess it could be more sensitive (measures to nearest .25 oz), but if you look at just the plain baby scales on amazon, most of them only go to the .5 oz, so I dont really view this as a negative given that I dont see any better competitors in the market.

> 3 dayThis is the Tesla of changing pads and scales. Its smart, sexy, sophisticated, simple, and essential! Every baby mama needs a changing pad so why not have the one with all the pverrbial bells and whistles, but without a single button! The design is brilliant! We dont tend to fuss too much about how much the bebe is pooping or eating but we love tracking her weight. It took a bit of effort to figure out how to set it up but once we got it going its been a dream. Im going to look for a cover (even though I love the simplicity of the look as is) because its a cold surface for a naked lil body. For now, I just put a cloth diaper or small blanket down before changing her if shes undressed.

Greater than one weekWorst scale and a total rip-off! The scale broke after a year and a half and since the warranty is only a year they wouldn’t do anything for me except give me 20% off. The “loading cells” are so delicate , evidently moving it to clean can break them. Why advertise it as a changing station when it Is obviously going to take some kind of movement and “downward pressure”. It claimes to have a weight limit of 44 pds. Well I guess don’t put a heavy baby on it or let the baby kick. According to their email to me “Grow is damaged when more than 44lbs of pressure has been applied to the scale which breaks the weighing mechanism.” It claims to be accurate to .25 oz but I rarely got repeatable result and often had to take multiple measurements to even get an idea . It is known that this scale is one of the most inaccurate. This company exploits new parents who want to measure newborn feedings. I completely regret this purchase. If I had had more time and energy to do more research after my baby was born, I would have seen that they are not only one of the most innacurate but have the worst warranty for scales. I am assuming they want parents to repeatedly buy this after it breaks after warranty expires , or expect them to throw it away after a year if they have only one child . There are many scales that are much better. This thing for me now is nothing more than a overpriced changing pad. My advice is to either get the Health-o-meter grow with me which has a 10 YEAR WARRANTY or Hopkins Featherweight Baby Scale which has a 3 year warranty and graduations of .16 oz and is only 40 dollars more than the stupid Hatch grow. Or just take the time to do more research. I’ve heard you can rent professional grade scales and even for around 300 you can buy a professional grade scale. The Hatch grow is not durable and won’t last through multiple children . It didn’t even last through one child for me. No Hatch. I’m not going to use your 20% off to buy your product again. I’m not stupid enough to spend another 100 dollars to replace it when it is obviously just going to break again.
