As a changing pad: its pretty great! Easy to clean, feels comfortable (not too soft but not too firm either), and I like the safety straps. I would have like it better if the side walls were a little taller but its not too bad. As a scale: so far seems to be very accurate. We weighed the baby before going to the pediatrician and before going to the lactation consultant, both times the readings matched what we saw in the doctors office and in the hospitals scales. Having had a preemie, we were really concerned about his weight gain/keeping him on target for feedings and the scale allows us to know how much he took from breastfeeding and adjust the amount of supplement baby needs, between medical appts. Havent had have any connectivity issues. Now considering other Hatch Baby products :)

We bought it for convenience so we wouldnt have to go to the docs every time we wanted to weigh our baby and this product delivers. Easy to clean and looks very smart. Our baby is a big baby so I do worry that he will grow out of this quite soon so I would have liked it to be physically longer in size. Comfort wise (despite it being easier to clean), I do prefer how the old model has a soft changing pad cover. The cover looks more comfortable for the baby to lie on something soft and velvety (as opposed to something hard and cool) and wont hurt his little head as he likes to lift his head to see whats going on but as he doesnt have the strength yet to hold it up, it floppily drops back down, sometimes with a bang causing him to get upset. Ive now resorted to place a small cushion underneath his head. I would happily pay extra for a changing pad cover like the old one for the previous model and for this reason have only given it 4 stars.

We mostly loved this scale, while it worked. The bluetooth was a little finicky and it was sometimes hard to get an accurate reading with a squirmy infant, but overall no major complaints. But the scale completely stopped working in 2 years, which is a huge blow for something that costs $150. Customer support sent a bunch of troubleshooting tips, which actually required that I purchase SPECIFIC BATTERIES, specifically saying Weve found that some batteries have even the slightest difference in diameter which doesnt allow for a secure connection to the battery coils. This is absolutely absurd for such an expensive item. And when I bought the specific batteries they recommended, it still didnt work. After the troubleshooting tips failed, the customer support rep said that they wouldnt replace the item since it was out of the 1-year warranty and instead offered a 15% discount on a brand new item. What a joke. I have absolutely NO desire to purchase another expensive premium scale that is going to break again in 2 years. Ill note that we also had issues with our Hatch Rest breaking in 2 years. For some reason, customer support agreed to replace this item even though it was out of the 1-year warranty. But this lack of quality control feels too frequent to support the price tag of Hatch items. Ill note that our family takes great care in our items and the breakage was absolutely not due to neglect or misuse. My family wont be purchasing Hatch items again.

Works well. Not 100% sure how accurate it is but so far no definite complaints

Even without the scale feature, this is an awesome changing pad. It is not cloth or absorbent in any way which is awesome since my little boy pees frequently during diaper changes. So easy to clean and wipe down. The weighing feature is awesome, helped guide my feedings to make sure my little guy was gaining weight properly. The app also has ability to track feedings, diapers, sleep which I found helpful. It’s definitely pricey, but not having to change covers is amazing

The Grow was a nice addition to our nursery. Its a sleek, functional changing pad that has given my husband and I peace of mind that our breastfed baby is growing well between doctors visits. It has been extremely helpful to know the range of how much milk baby takes at each feed as we are starting to introduce a bottle (to avoid over or underfeeding and wasting precious milk) and as I get ready to return to work so that I know what my goal is for pumping at work to meet babys needs. I really love the app from Hatch Baby for tracking weight, feeds, sleep, and diapers. Well done!

This scale is nice to have to track a babys weight. Honestly, after about 2 weeks youre probably going to forget/not care anymore about regularly tracking weight. The app is pretty good. You have to randomly zero out the scale about half the time, but not the other half which is annoying. You can calculate how much a baby eats by weighing before and after a feeding, but again, half the time the app glitches and erases the initial weight. The changing pad itself is cold and slick. My baby spends the whole diaper change in a moro position with arms and legs outstretched, rocking back and forth and sliding around way more than on any other type of surface. The contours arent very high so without the little belt to hold him down (which falls off the scale way too easily), he seems very at risk of rolling himself off. Hes only 3w old so when hes actually able to move around even more, I cant imagine how easily he could roll himself off. But that kinda slick material is easy to clean, so theres your trade-off.

This scale costs 4x other baby scales but is accurate, reliable and comes with an app that is worth $100 in its own. So I look at this as an exceptional scale worth $100 that comes with an app worth $100 bundled together at a $50 discount. What’s not to live here? When you wake up at 2 am for a feeding and don’t which side was last or have long lost track of day of the week and how many , the app is golden, like your own feeding doula. Save yourself the trouble of logging the weight from other $50 scales I tried from Amazon and but the bullet on this beautiful piece of baby tech. Your sanity and sleep is worth many $100s.

My granddaughter was a preemie and my daughter needed something to monitor her weight. We were so happy to have found this. It works wonderful when child is breastfed also. Easier to monitor how much baby has consumed. Best gift I found for our preemie

I bought this because I was struggling to breastfeed my newborn. We would use this scale and app to measure how much breastmilk my little was consuming each feed. As time went on we wound up having to add in formula and I got more comfortable with how much he was getting each feed so we don’t use it as much anymore but it’s still nice to weigh him every once in awhile! I also am so thankful I had it during the first few weeks while I was struggling. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to track nursing feeds or track progress!
