Easy to add cameras to this monitor system, purchased a second camera at the birth of our second child. Been using the system since 2015 with our first and still using them with our 3rd. Cameras are great and easy to control, provide good audio and push to talk which helps with the older ones. Main monitor device had one flaw using a micro usb charge port but have corrected that in 2019 with a barrel connector which is much more durable. Overall its been a great system and couldnt imagine not having it, company stands by their product and their customer service has been great when Ive had problems (related to usb charge port), quick and responsive and got me a solution to my problem quickly!

Easy to pair and great quality like the one that came with the monitor but not happy with integration of the add on. Basically you either have to choose which camera you want to look at or scan them. So if camera one is scanning and on my sons room but my daughter starts crying I have to wait for it to switch to her room. It is based on a timer and not on noise. So you have no idea what’s going on in the other room when looking at a different room. So a few times my daughter is crying (I can hear her through the wall) but by the time the camera gets to her room she takes a breath to cry again but by the time she cries the camera switches back to her brother and I can’t hear her on the monitor. I wish I played audio from both and would switch to which everyone is making noise. If no noise is present it would scan. In general it’s fine for now

This baby monitor is hands down, much better than the Motorola camera I had prior, which cost nearly twice as much. Pros: -Amazing night vision, the photo attached is in a almost pitch black room yet I can still see my baby clearly. -Ability to add a wide angle lens, I like to use this one for the playroom so I can see more. -The zoom function also has really good clarity if you want to get a closer look at something. -The battery is SO GOOD. I have had this thing for over a year now and the battery still lasts hours just like the first time I had it. It can go a good 8-10 hours without being plugged in if you dont have the screen on. -Easily add additional cameras, then you can have it continually scan through the various screens or just choose the one you want to stay on I cant really think of any cons for this monitor. I had an issue with one of my cameras after it was dropped and had to deal with their customer service and they were very responsive and helpful with the issue. I also think theres a lot to be said for buying a monitor from a company whose sole focus is baby monitors and not other products. This really is top notch and if youre thinking about buying one just go for it, you wont be disappointed.

This product is wonderful. I have been using it for three months. It allows me to see my child during the day and at night in his room. We bought this camera to use with the Infant Optics monitor we have for the camera in our daughters room. It was very easy to sync this camera with the monitor we already had. And the monitor is easy to operate between both cameras. We use the original lens that came with this camera since we are viewing a baby in his crib. It is perfect or keeping an eye on him. The night vision works well. I have not had any issues with this camera. It rotates around the room when buttons are pushed on the monitor. So, I am able to move the camera if my baby moves. I am also able to talk through the monitor to my baby. The speaker on the monitor and camera are very clear. Please feel free to select below whether this review was helpful to you.

We have used the Infant Optics DXR-8 for over 2 years. The image is great, including in darkness. We started having trouble with the monitor holding a charge a few months after using it. Then the monitor was making clicking sounds. After contacting customer support, they were able to walk me through readjusting the monitor battery. Since then, the monitor has held a charge fine. Also, after much support, it was determined that my camera was the source of the clicking that we were hearing from the monitor. Customer support was great! Even though I was about 2 years past my warranty, they replaced my camera, so it is no longer making the clicking sound. They went the extra mile to keep me as a customer, and I greatly appreciated that level of care.

I have had several different brands of baby monitors in the past 4 years and this one is by far my favorite. It has all of the abilities that are important to me in a bay monitor...pan-tilt-zoom, the ability to toggle between several rooms, temperature gauge, the ability to be speak from the parent unit to the camera, great battery life etc. I had this unit for a little over a year when the power button stopped working. I called Infant Optics and they went through the troubleshooting process with me and determined that it needed to be replaced. I was technically a month out out of the warranty, but the customer service representative who helped me with this case was kind enough to replace it for free anyways. She was even able to get me expedited 2-day shipping (worth about $10) for free and I got my replacement unit extremely quickly, which is important when you want to be able to see and hear your children. I have honestly never had a better experience with customer service from any company before. The woman I spoke to truly went above and beyond to rectify the situation. I can say without any hesitation that I would highly recommend this product and this company!

This unit is perfect for caring due my elderly parent with Alzheimer’s. I have 4 cameras and one monitor. I can easily switch from one room to another which will allow me to get something done while knowing where he is and that he’s safe. I’ve even been able to go water the garden and feed chickens outside 70-90 feet away from the house with no issues. I honestly can’t review the zoom cuz I’ve never used that, but both daytime and nighttime are clear, easy to hear, able to scan the entire room, and able to help me sleep at night knowing I can check on him from my own bed. I tried another brand and I loved that the screen on the monitor was much larger, but when I would go outside I could not see him well if he was in a dim room and couldn’t make it to the garden or chicken coop without it disconnecting. I prefer this brand.

I got this monitor because our other broke shortly before our second baby arrived. I was so happy with how much better quality the picture was than with our previous camera which was terrible! I also loved being able to have multiple cameras for the monitor. Everything was going perftly until late week the monitor stopped working. I was a little annoyed, naturally. But when I reached out to customer service they were quick to tak me through the process to get a replacement shipped out! They were amazing. I just received the replacement today and I’m so happy to have it back. I highly recommend this monitor. The quality is amazing and you can’t beat the customer service!
