This baby monitor is hands down, much better than the Motorola camera I had prior, which cost nearly twice as much. Pros: -Amazing night vision, the photo attached is in a almost pitch black room yet I can still see my baby clearly. -Ability to add a wide angle lens, I like to use this one for the playroom so I can see more. -The zoom function also has really good clarity if you want to get a closer look at something. -The battery is SO GOOD. I have had this thing for over a year now and the battery still lasts hours just like the first time I had it. It can go a good 8-10 hours without being plugged in if you dont have the screen on. -Easily add additional cameras, then you can have it continually scan through the various screens or just choose the one you want to stay on I cant really think of any cons for this monitor. I had an issue with one of my cameras after it was dropped and had to deal with their customer service and they were very responsive and helpful with the issue. I also think theres a lot to be said for buying a monitor from a company whose sole focus is baby monitors and not other products. This really is top notch and if youre thinking about buying one just go for it, you wont be disappointed.

We have an infant optics monitor and camera for our first daughter that has worked seamlessly for 3 years now. We had a second child so needed another camera. This is camera is an inexpensive solution, as you can easily set it up to use your existing monitor. Set up takes about 2 mins, by pressing the “add” setting on the monitor, and holding down a small button on the back of the camera. It pairs and you’re done. After that, you can easily switch between camera views through the monitor, or have it scan between the two, which switches the view every 10 seconds or so. Both cameras maintain full functionality with night vision, pan, temperature display, and ability to talk through the monitor. Awesome price and quality. Easy set up.

We have two cameras and one monitor. Weve been using them for about two months. Pros: - You can remotely move the camera. Great especially for toddlers who move around. Also you can mount the camera once and never have to touch it again, its always in the right place! - Good sound and picture quality. (Note there is no white noise deduction, though this doesnt bother me as much as I thought it would.) - Battery and transmission distance good. Although it seems like the battery will go from four bars to one really fast, it lasts for a while. - When you talk through the monitor the sound is clear. - You can zoom remotely. - Works well with multiple cameras, although no split screen you can set it to scan (switch views every 10 seconds). - Eady to use and great customer service! Cons: - There is no charging dock. Therefore it is easily to bend/damage the charging cable. Youll have to buy another. Also the plug is on the left side so depending which way you set it the cable can get in the way. - The low battery/no signal beep is annoyingly loud and you cant adjust it. There is no loud noise alert beep you just have to listen for crying. - The wide angle lens is great for viewing the entire room but the night vision quality with this lens is pretty bad. Night vision is fine with the other lenses.

We love this camera! It is so clear, has great battery life and distance the signal can be picked up. So if I need to do some gardening or clean out my car while the kids nap I can do that knowing that I will be able to hear them if they wake and check on them through video. We have had one camera for almost 4 years now. We bought a second when #2 was born and the older one works just as great as the new one does!

I got this camera on cyber Monday while I was pregnant for a great price. They arent on sale every year but I paid full price to add an additional camera to the circuit, its worth it. I read so many reviews and the quality and customer service seemed to be the best. The battery is decent but youll want to leave it plugged in if you are using it overnight when baby is in another room. If used just for naps we charge the monitor once or twice a week. It has a good range, its still connected 3 floors down. The only weird thing is if your phone is close to the monitor, the wifi messes with the signal I think. Reasonable camera cord length. Weve had this system for 6 months and it works great, I highly recommend it.

I absolutely LOVE this camera setup! Before this I had tried two different types that have to go through the internet and pair with your phone- awful! The reception where I live sucks so maybe that had something to do with it, I don’t know, but it was a nightmare trying to pair them, operate, etc. So I tried this brand realizing “why do I need to see my baby via my cell phone? I’m not leaving her alone at home.” OMG, SO SIMPLE to set this up and use and it NEVER fails! The camera bought prompting this review was the second addition so I could have one upstairs and one downstairs. It paired with the original monitor in seconds, the Home Screen and operating buttons are clear and intuitive to use- zero guess work in operating it, and the cameras rotate a lot so you’ve got plenty of wiggle room to get the best view. Love the whole thing!

I love this camera/monitor for my kids. I just bought a second camera for my second baby. The quality is great and I love that I know the temperature in the room. It’s also nice that you can put the screen on sleep but still have sound. Pairing an extra camera is very easy and the monitor switches between the two cameras every few seconds if you put it on scan. Super helpful since it doesn’t do a split screen. The monitor beeps when it can’t connect to the camera and when it’s running low on battery. Our power went out in the middle of winter in the middle of the night and it woke me immediately beeping because it couldn’t connect to the camera. We were able to bring the baby to our room, start a fire and prep the generator while the house was still warm. It got down to 20 degrees that night. Thankful my baby didn’t get cold.

I have had this monitor since my first child, 3years ago, and absolutely love it! The quality is the best I’ve seen of all my friends different brand monitors. The picture quality and sound is amazing. I love the ease of camera add on and how it scans my kids rooms. Customer service has always been extremely helpful when needing assistance! I would absolutely buy again and recommend to all new moms!

We ordered an additional camera for the arrival of our second child. I love Infant Optics and not only is it a great product, but their customer service is amazing. We had originally received the Infant Optics monitor and camera when expecting our first child almost three years ago. Recently the night vision on that camera started to have issues and even though we were way past the one year warranty, they went above and beyond to resolve the issue for me.

Add-on Camera Unit for Infant Optics DXR-8 (3.5" model) video baby monitor. Not compatible with DXR-8 PRO (5.0" model). Pairs with Monitor Unit in seconds. Features remote pan/tilt/zoom and interchangeable optical lenses. Charger included. Zoom lens and wide angle lens sold separately.
