> 3 dayWe purchased this monitor after our previous monitor by Summer Infant was discontinued so we weren’t able to get a second camera to hook up to it, so we took advantage of the opportunity to try out a new brand! The good reviews and personal recommendations encouraged us to go with this monitor, and having used it for a while I thought I’d leave a quick review. Pros: Battery life is pretty good It’s nice to be able to turn off the beep for when the battery is low or you go out of range It has the temperature of the room, which is GREAT, our last one didn’t have that It has an icon to show when the talk button is being pressed and the camera end is able to hear you (another feature I like that our last one didn’t have) It has most of the features I expect (2 way communication, video screen, ability to turn on and off the screen to save battery, night vision) Cons: Image is not the most amazing for nighttime use, it’s still a little grainy (our last monitor was the same if not a little better) The image is choppy, especially at night. It doesn’t flow smoothly like a video ought to, instead it is like a bunch of pictures stitched together quickly (our last monitor was way better in this respect) I wish you could adjust the volume on the monitor elsewhere rather than going into the menu each time The kickstand is a little flimsy and it falls over by itself a lot When you turn the screen on it flashes the last image it showed, then updates to the current image. It makes it look like my kid is moving when he’s been still for who knows how long! I miss the charging station of our last monitor, you could just plop it on the station to charge instead of having to plug it in and keep track of the plug and make sure it doesn’t fall off the back of your nightstand when you unplug it for a minute… It was a really nice feature! It would be nice to see the percentage of battery left rather than just estimate based on the battery image looking less or more full Unsure: Range – our friends tell us the range is amazing on their unit, but we’ve had it break up a couple times within our small house (though we think there is lead paint in the walls or something else to prevent it from working 100%. Our last monitor worked about the same) I’m not sure what the antenna does, if it actually helps anything or is just in the way. We haven’t tried or needed the second lens yet, maybe with the baby it will be more helpful since he doesn’t move all around the crib like the older kid does I haven’t figured out what the short cut button is for, and why they dedicated so much space to it Overall a pretty good monitor, and I think

> 3 dayWe purchased a second add-on camera for our second baby’s room. I’ve never owned another monitor so I can’t compare, but I do really like the features this camera and monitor offer. The ability to view my babies without having to just rely on noises alone makes this monitor well worth the money! It has a good range of motion for when my older son rolls around in his bed. My only complaints are that after a year the monitor will stop working and the screen will display a signal out of reach screen, even though everything is powered on and was just working. I took the battery out and let it sit for 20 mins as the manufacturer suggests, but within another week or so it started doing it again. I’m not sure if this is from the battery being plugged in for too long, but it is annoying because it sometimes stays on that screen for 3 or more minutes and powering on and off doesn’t resolve the issue, you just have to wait for it to reconnect. My other complaint is that on our first camera (the one we’ve had for over a year now) the port at which the cord plugs into the camera seems to be somewhat loose now and we have to wrap the cord around the camera with the antenna holding it in place to keep it connected. There are also times on that camera where the picture isn’t as clear, which maybe could be caused by the cord connection, but it’s just odd that one time the picture is great and the next it’s a tad blurry when the camera hasn’t been touched. Overall I’m very happy with this camera and monitor set.

> 3 dayWe have two cameras and one monitor. Weve been using them for about two months. Pros: - You can remotely move the camera. Great especially for toddlers who move around. Also you can mount the camera once and never have to touch it again, its always in the right place! - Good sound and picture quality. (Note there is no white noise deduction, though this doesnt bother me as much as I thought it would.) - Battery and transmission distance good. Although it seems like the battery will go from four bars to one really fast, it lasts for a while. - When you talk through the monitor the sound is clear. - You can zoom remotely. - Works well with multiple cameras, although no split screen you can set it to scan (switch views every 10 seconds). - Eady to use and great customer service! Cons: - There is no charging dock. Therefore it is easily to bend/damage the charging cable. Youll have to buy another. Also the plug is on the left side so depending which way you set it the cable can get in the way. - The low battery/no signal beep is annoyingly loud and you cant adjust it. There is no loud noise alert beep you just have to listen for crying. - The wide angle lens is great for viewing the entire room but the night vision quality with this lens is pretty bad. Night vision is fine with the other lenses.

> 3 dayI have generally been happy with this baby monitor, so I purchased the extra camera for it when my wife and I had our second baby a few weeks ago. I wanted to share some thoughts about something I DONT like about this monitor, particularly as it relates to add-on cameras. First Ill explain briefly the issue we had with our previous monitor, then Ill explain how that ties into what we dont like about THIS monitor. My wife and I loved our previous baby monitor, but we ran into issues when our second child was born and we started using the monitor with a second camera. That was when we discovered a quirk with the monitors software. With a single camera we had liked the Eco mode in which the monitors screen and audio would both shut off after about ten seconds of inactivity in our daughters room, then turn back on as soon as sound was detected. The monitor was silent unless our daughter was making noise, and this probably contributed to the monitors fantastic battery life. My wife and I liked this feature especially if were watching a movie or something; we would turn the monitors volume up so that we would easily hear it if our daughter started crying, but it was completely silent otherwise. But when we added a second camera we discovered that when you put the system into scan mode (where the monitor alternates between two or more cameras) Eco mode is no longer a possibility. Instead, the monitor cycles through the cameras for ten seconds each, with the screen ALWAYS on and the speaker constantly emitting a white noise. Aside from the noise being annoying, this also meant that the monitors battery drained MUCH more quickly than before. That was enough to put me back on the search for a new baby monitor. I selected this one on the basis of a huge number of positive reviews, and overall my wife and I are quite pleased with it. Setup was easy, the image quality is great, and we love the ability to pan the cameras. I also like the ability to select, at the touch of a single button, whether to view one camera, the other camera, or to scan between them. What I DONT like is the way the audio works in scan mode. Unlike our previous monitor, the screen on this one can be set to turn off after either 3 or 5 minutes of inactivity, even in the scanning mode. The speaker, however, does NOT turn off, so it is always emitting a white noise. With 2 cameras, this means the speaker alternates between two slightly different white noises every 12 seconds or so. This may not seem like a big deal, but when you are a light sleeper like me, its really annoying! Also, if one of our little ones starts making noise, a monitor gets our attention much more readily if the speaker was formerly silent than if it was already emitting some white noise. Im not sure why the Infant Optics monitor was designed this way. If my children are sleeping quietly, I dont need to hear static white noise transmitted from their rooms. Having said that, I otherwise like this monitor very much, and I can see why it is so popular. I notice Infant Optics responded to customers complaints about the out of range alarm; I wonder if anyone else besides me wishes the speaker could be set to be silent when the screen is off?

> 3 dayInfabt optics is a great monitor! I had Motorola prior to this and it worked great, but only lasted a year as the monitor constantly shut off and made very loud noises. The infant optics is easy to use and is great to scan between rooms. The option to scan is awesome, I believe it stays on each room for about 10-12 seconds. We have yet t use the wide angle lense but plan on doing so in the next few months (I’ll write another review then). One last thing, the customer service is SUPERB! We had an issue with our camera (somehow had static noise when it was in one room), so they troubleshooted with me and even checked in on me after a few days without responding. The problem didn’t resolve after a few adjustments so they sent me a new camera, which is working perfectly! It’s nice to have a company that is willing to work with you. Did I mention that they sent me the new one first, so I wouldn’t be out of a camera? So happy with product and company

Greater than one weekwe originally purchased a monitor and camera for our first child. We then bought another camera. SO easy to add and the monitor has 2 settings for multiple cameras, 1) you can select the OK button to switch between the cameras or 2) press and hold OK to enable a scan mode and the monitor will automatically switch between cameras after a couple seconds. Additional positive feedback/2+ year review, we had our monitor acting funny/sometimes wouldnt hold a full charge, maybe it was the way we connected it. I emailed them and they swapped our monitor out after showing proof we sent it back - we did have to pay to ship it back. We love this product and would highly recommend it. We have had friends purchase it and also love it. You can also mount the camera to the wall for when the kiddos grow and can reach the camera.

01-04-2025ALMOST perfect! The PTZ was great, and I am in love with the talk back feature. The only con is, while its made to be wall mounted or ceiling mounted, if you do mount it on the ceiling, you cant flip the image on the handset! Which means you are stuck with an upside down image! It seems like such a silly oversight. Also, like others say, it is prone to interference. I keep my phone and the handset to the monitor on my nightstand at night to charge, and if my phone receives any data in the middle of the night, the signal from the baby monitor drops and it makes a loud BEEP! to let me know its out of signal range. It has startled me awake on numerous occasions. Im still trying to figure out where I can put both my phone and the monitor where its accessible in the middle of the night, but not so close the signals interfere. I will say, though, we got a power adapter that made a weird whistling noise, so I contacted infant optics directly to see if theyd replace it, and they sent out a replacement within 48 hours. Im liking that customer service :-)

> 3 dayI have had this camera for over a year and have tried multiple brands and this one is by far the best. I wish I could write this review on the actual system but my sister bought it for me so I can only leave my review on the additional camera. Anywhos, after a year or so I noticed that one of my cameras wasn’t working in the dark anymore and I reached out to customer service after realizing I was out of the warranty window I just thanked the customer service agent for their time and planned on purchasing a new camera in the future (the sound still worked great and day time picture worked too just not night time). A few weeks later I received a message from that agent regarding my issues and even though I was slightly over my warranty he worked with me and sent me a new camera! I was beyond grateful that he continued to message me after I had done gone about my business and saved me $100. I am about to purchase another additional camera as we are expecting another baby but you honestly can’t beat their product or service. The ability to add up to 4 cameras and change out lens to meet your needs is super handy!
