> 3 dayMy toddler and baby share a room and I am really happy that this monitor can scan from left to right and up and down with the normal lens enough that I can keep an eye on both of them at night. I did buy a separate wide angle lens but haven’t needed it so far because of the great viewing options with the normal lens! Very happy the wide angle lens is an option though as we can use it to monitor them playing in the play room with an add-on camera. Also, we are having another baby soon and I am glad we can add another camera for baby’s room while still using the same parent unit. Very practical. I do like that the cameras can do temperature readings for each room since the big kids’ room and baby’s room will likely feel different at certain times of day/night. Overall, it’s a very functional way us to keep an eye on all 3 of our “littles” wherever they are in the house. Very excited about this new monitor!

> 3 dayThis camera was perfect for our first kid! However, it’s not ideal for two kids. We bought the extra camera, and connecting to the monitor was very easy. The part that I don’t like is the “scan” feature which is supposed to go back and forth between the kids room and it does just that but not all the time. I’ll set it on scan when I put our kids to bed, and an hour later it will stop scanning and just stay on whichever room it was on. I found this out the hard way when I couldn’t hear my new baby crying cause the “scan” was stuck on my toddlers room. It will still say it’s in scan, but it’s not scanning. So before I go to bed I have to just put it on the babies room. Thankfully 99% of the time my toddler sleeps through the night. It’s annoying that it doesn’t scan all the time. If I would have know this I would of bought a split screen monitor system.

> 3 dayThis product is wonderful. I have been using it for three months. It allows me to see my child during the day and at night in his room. We bought this camera to use with the Infant Optics monitor we have for the camera in our daughters room. It was very easy to sync this camera with the monitor we already had. And the monitor is easy to operate between both cameras. We use the original lens that came with this camera since we are viewing a baby in his crib. It is perfect or keeping an eye on him. The night vision works well. I have not had any issues with this camera. It rotates around the room when buttons are pushed on the monitor. So, I am able to move the camera if my baby moves. I am also able to talk through the monitor to my baby. The speaker on the monitor and camera are very clear. Please feel free to select below whether this review was helpful to you.

> 3 dayI have generally been happy with this baby monitor, so I purchased the extra camera for it when my wife and I had our second baby a few weeks ago. I wanted to share some thoughts about something I DONT like about this monitor, particularly as it relates to add-on cameras. First Ill explain briefly the issue we had with our previous monitor, then Ill explain how that ties into what we dont like about THIS monitor. My wife and I loved our previous baby monitor, but we ran into issues when our second child was born and we started using the monitor with a second camera. That was when we discovered a quirk with the monitors software. With a single camera we had liked the Eco mode in which the monitors screen and audio would both shut off after about ten seconds of inactivity in our daughters room, then turn back on as soon as sound was detected. The monitor was silent unless our daughter was making noise, and this probably contributed to the monitors fantastic battery life. My wife and I liked this feature especially if were watching a movie or something; we would turn the monitors volume up so that we would easily hear it if our daughter started crying, but it was completely silent otherwise. But when we added a second camera we discovered that when you put the system into scan mode (where the monitor alternates between two or more cameras) Eco mode is no longer a possibility. Instead, the monitor cycles through the cameras for ten seconds each, with the screen ALWAYS on and the speaker constantly emitting a white noise. Aside from the noise being annoying, this also meant that the monitors battery drained MUCH more quickly than before. That was enough to put me back on the search for a new baby monitor. I selected this one on the basis of a huge number of positive reviews, and overall my wife and I are quite pleased with it. Setup was easy, the image quality is great, and we love the ability to pan the cameras. I also like the ability to select, at the touch of a single button, whether to view one camera, the other camera, or to scan between them. What I DONT like is the way the audio works in scan mode. Unlike our previous monitor, the screen on this one can be set to turn off after either 3 or 5 minutes of inactivity, even in the scanning mode. The speaker, however, does NOT turn off, so it is always emitting a white noise. With 2 cameras, this means the speaker alternates between two slightly different white noises every 12 seconds or so. This may not seem like a big deal, but when you are a light sleeper like me, its really annoying! Also, if one of our little ones starts making noise, a monitor gets our attention much more readily if the speaker was formerly silent than if it was already emitting some white noise. Im not sure why the Infant Optics monitor was designed this way. If my children are sleeping quietly, I dont need to hear static white noise transmitted from their rooms. Having said that, I otherwise like this monitor very much, and I can see why it is so popular. I notice Infant Optics responded to customers complaints about the out of range alarm; I wonder if anyone else besides me wishes the speaker could be set to be silent when the screen is off?

> 3 dayVery easy to add onto my current camera and monitor set up i purchased previously for our first child in 2017. The whole system is great. The night vision is good (not super great if over 7ft away because it gets a little grainy), the sound is great (I personally keep mine running on low and plugged in all night so I can hear my toddler who is on a different level of our home) and the talk feature is awesome. I love being able to flip through the different cameras or have it just stay on one all night. Very easy to set up and use. I had an issue with my power cord and the customer service is AWESOME. They will communicate with you over the phone, chat, text or email. I chose email and had an answer within 12 hour and a resolution just as quickly. No cost replacement of my power cord and it came within 2 days. Great experience all around. Good product good company, happy customer. End of story!

> 3 dayALMOST perfect! The PTZ was great, and I am in love with the talk back feature. The only con is, while its made to be wall mounted or ceiling mounted, if you do mount it on the ceiling, you cant flip the image on the handset! Which means you are stuck with an upside down image! It seems like such a silly oversight. Also, like others say, it is prone to interference. I keep my phone and the handset to the monitor on my nightstand at night to charge, and if my phone receives any data in the middle of the night, the signal from the baby monitor drops and it makes a loud BEEP! to let me know its out of signal range. It has startled me awake on numerous occasions. Im still trying to figure out where I can put both my phone and the monitor where its accessible in the middle of the night, but not so close the signals interfere. I will say, though, we got a power adapter that made a weird whistling noise, so I contacted infant optics directly to see if theyd replace it, and they sent out a replacement within 48 hours. Im liking that customer service :-)

> 3 dayWeve been using this monitor for a few days now in our toddlers room and so far we really like it. Some of the best features so far are the fact that the lowest brightness level on the parent handset screen is pleasantly low so it doesnt blind you when looking at it in the dark at night; the camera pan and tilt gives a great view of almost all of our sons bedroom; the controls on the parent handset are intuitive and easy to use; the volume control has low enough levels for use at night time, again so it doesnt jolt you awake in the middle of the night when our son makes a small noise. This is a definitely upgrade from our previous baby monitor, and we are looking forward to using it in our new babys room as well.

> 3 dayOverall, this camera is great value (good quality for low cost). The picture quality, battery life, and overall ease of use are all excellent. The reason for holding back on the 5th star is due to the brightness on the night vision mode. The sheets in our baby’s bassinet (and crib) are all white and a highly reflective material, thus the night vision shows up on screen extremely bright (even on the lowest brightness level/setting). Accordingly, the brightness of the night vision causes some eye strain when taking a peek in the middle of the night. The only other comment/observation I have is related to the built in temperature sensor. Although it seems like a relatively handy feature, and the sensor seems fairly accurate, it’s only useful if your camera is mounted close to the baby’s sleeping area. In our nursery, the camera is mounted near the ceiling, high above the crib. Because of that, the temperature always appears to be 3-5 degrees higher than the actual temp near the baby(Heat rises), so if you intend to place this camera more than 3-5 feet away from the baby, I’d recommend buying an alternative temperature sensor, as you won’t be able to reliably utilize the temperature reading.

> 3 dayThese camera are great. Easy to connect to the monitor. Picture quality is decent. It alerts through the monitor the temp of the room and sounds an alarm if the room it’s too hot. I’ve bought multiple for my house, been using it since 2018. The monitor it pairs to runs via Bluetooth and has a scan feature so it’ll switch between all the cameras making it easy to monitor multiple rooms with sleeping kids at a time.

> 3 dayI would definitely recommend this camera. However, my only complaint is that the green light (which helps with the night vision and serves as a light sensor) is on the bottom of the camera. As a result, if you have the camera perched up high looking down on your little one, it means that less ambient light will pass through the camera forcing it into Black/White mode rather than color. Its not a big deal as you can still see clearly, but id like to see the color screen during naps and Black/White at night time. This is a minor gripe though as the camera sends a very clear picture. In addition, we have not experienced any problems with reception, which is always good news. Previously, we had an old version of the Summer Infant monitor and camera. The summer infant was more expensive and a bit higher quality but this is a good value and gets similar functionality.
