Greater than one weekThis camera was perfect for our first kid! However, it’s not ideal for two kids. We bought the extra camera, and connecting to the monitor was very easy. The part that I don’t like is the “scan” feature which is supposed to go back and forth between the kids room and it does just that but not all the time. I’ll set it on scan when I put our kids to bed, and an hour later it will stop scanning and just stay on whichever room it was on. I found this out the hard way when I couldn’t hear my new baby crying cause the “scan” was stuck on my toddlers room. It will still say it’s in scan, but it’s not scanning. So before I go to bed I have to just put it on the babies room. Thankfully 99% of the time my toddler sleeps through the night. It’s annoying that it doesn’t scan all the time. If I would have know this I would of bought a split screen monitor system.

> 3 dayWe purchased this as a second camera for our Infant Optics DXR-8. It’s very easy to add cameras with this system. The picture and sound quality is excellent, and we can easily keep an eye on the kids via the monitor from all parts of house, including the basement. The range even includes our back patio. The battery life is much better than our previous monitor, which always needed to be plugged in after an hour or so. We did have an issue with the night vision degrading significantly after almost a year of use. However, the Infant Optics customer service rep I worked with was very understanding and replaced both our cameras, even the one we had lost the receipt for. After going to battle with a different manufacturer over our last monitor, I have to say it was a breath of fresh air to have a company simply do the right thing. We’re very satisfied with our purchase.

> 3 dayWe bought our first monitor for our son two years ago. We never realized the infrared sensor was not working and therefore, the night vision was poor. We thought it was just the system, so we stuck with it in order to avoiding purchasing a whole new monitor system with a different brand. Our second son was born recently and we purchased an add-on camera. We couldn’t believe the difference in quality. We called the company and that was when we realized the sensor must have come damaged with our original camera. However, since the one year warrantee had lapsed, they could offer us a 50% discount for a replacement. Customer services was quick and responsive. We did need to buy a separate zoom lens and battery replacement (with a much longer life), as well as a wall mount. Seen below: -Zoom lens: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ECGX24E/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -Battery replacement: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074J5B2LW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -Wall mount: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RZCRW7X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I do wish it came with the technology to automatically switch to the room where a child is crying or making noise as opposed to always remaining on scan. In addition, it would be nice to be able to access the monitor though an app on my phone so I did not always need to bring the monitor with me (the range does reach a little outside the house).

> 3 dayI have generally been happy with this baby monitor, so I purchased the extra camera for it when my wife and I had our second baby a few weeks ago. I wanted to share some thoughts about something I DONT like about this monitor, particularly as it relates to add-on cameras. First Ill explain briefly the issue we had with our previous monitor, then Ill explain how that ties into what we dont like about THIS monitor. My wife and I loved our previous baby monitor, but we ran into issues when our second child was born and we started using the monitor with a second camera. That was when we discovered a quirk with the monitors software. With a single camera we had liked the Eco mode in which the monitors screen and audio would both shut off after about ten seconds of inactivity in our daughters room, then turn back on as soon as sound was detected. The monitor was silent unless our daughter was making noise, and this probably contributed to the monitors fantastic battery life. My wife and I liked this feature especially if were watching a movie or something; we would turn the monitors volume up so that we would easily hear it if our daughter started crying, but it was completely silent otherwise. But when we added a second camera we discovered that when you put the system into scan mode (where the monitor alternates between two or more cameras) Eco mode is no longer a possibility. Instead, the monitor cycles through the cameras for ten seconds each, with the screen ALWAYS on and the speaker constantly emitting a white noise. Aside from the noise being annoying, this also meant that the monitors battery drained MUCH more quickly than before. That was enough to put me back on the search for a new baby monitor. I selected this one on the basis of a huge number of positive reviews, and overall my wife and I are quite pleased with it. Setup was easy, the image quality is great, and we love the ability to pan the cameras. I also like the ability to select, at the touch of a single button, whether to view one camera, the other camera, or to scan between them. What I DONT like is the way the audio works in scan mode. Unlike our previous monitor, the screen on this one can be set to turn off after either 3 or 5 minutes of inactivity, even in the scanning mode. The speaker, however, does NOT turn off, so it is always emitting a white noise. With 2 cameras, this means the speaker alternates between two slightly different white noises every 12 seconds or so. This may not seem like a big deal, but when you are a light sleeper like me, its really annoying! Also, if one of our little ones starts making noise, a monitor gets our attention much more readily if the speaker was formerly silent than if it was already emitting some white noise. Im not sure why the Infant Optics monitor was designed this way. If my children are sleeping quietly, I dont need to hear static white noise transmitted from their rooms. Having said that, I otherwise like this monitor very much, and I can see why it is so popular. I notice Infant Optics responded to customers complaints about the out of range alarm; I wonder if anyone else besides me wishes the speaker could be set to be silent when the screen is off?

> 3 daywe originally purchased a monitor and camera for our first child. We then bought another camera. SO easy to add and the monitor has 2 settings for multiple cameras, 1) you can select the OK button to switch between the cameras or 2) press and hold OK to enable a scan mode and the monitor will automatically switch between cameras after a couple seconds. Additional positive feedback/2+ year review, we had our monitor acting funny/sometimes wouldnt hold a full charge, maybe it was the way we connected it. I emailed them and they swapped our monitor out after showing proof we sent it back - we did have to pay to ship it back. We love this product and would highly recommend it. We have had friends purchase it and also love it. You can also mount the camera to the wall for when the kiddos grow and can reach the camera.

> 3 dayWe are very happy with our Infant Optics purchases because they have excellent customer service!!! When we had an issue we talked with Kristine Z. and she was extremely helpful, responsive, and made sure all of our issues were completely resolved. She even checked back with us a few days later to make sure everything was working for us. We should have reached out earlier - these cameras/monitors are worth the money because of the team of support! Very satisfied customer!

> 3 dayWe bought this for our first born, have used it for the last two years without issue and have loved it! We purchased a second camera for our twins this summer. The added camera was easy to set up, however, it stopped connecting to the monitor after about 2 months. I contacted customer service and notified them that I went through all their troubleshooting and still could not get the second camera to connect. Their customer service representative walked me through the process of returning the camera and sent me a new one, free of charge. It was honestly the most wonderful customer service experience I have had. The new camera is working perfectly and the representative I worked with even followed up to see if that fixed our problem! Highly recommend this product and company!

> 3 dayWe love this camera! It is so clear, has great battery life and distance the signal can be picked up. So if I need to do some gardening or clean out my car while the kids nap I can do that knowing that I will be able to hear them if they wake and check on them through video. We have had one camera for almost 4 years now. We bought a second when #2 was born and the older one works just as great as the new one does!

> 3 dayWe had the original monitor and camera unit and decided to purchase a second camera for our new baby. Quality is great, pairing the two cameras with the single monitor was easy. It switches back and forth between the two rooms with ease, about every ten seconds. Its worked very well for us and Im very pleased with this product for the years weve been using it. And, the icing on the cake, Infant Optics has AMAZING customer service. They are always willing to help with any concerns and are super fast to respond to any questions. I love this product and this company. Would highly recommend!

> 3 dayThe camera and monitor are easy to setup and use, and they work very well keeping an eye on things. I had a technical issue as well and had to call email customer support, and they were amazing with quick, friendly responses, but best of all, doing great work helping resolve my issue, so everything is good now. Definitely I recommend the camera and monitor because of the product quality and customer service!
