> 24 hourIn general, its a good product. It moved almost everything over from the old PC to new PC. It provided couple of summary reports to tell you in a detail list of exactly what migrated to the new pc. That provide a nice reference.

> 24 hourWell, other than moving one of the programs which would have taken me some time to install, it created a number of problems, the first being that it transferred all my documents into the OneDrive causing it to freeze. Part of that transfer was my outlook pst file which crashed my email. Thank god I had my own backup. Other programs worked sporadically and I just reinstalled them. Somehow it also messed up a number of movie files which again I copied from my backup.

> 24 hourAll Windows 10 versions are not the same. PCmover would not move many programs/settings from the old computer to the new one, even with both running updated versions of Windows 10.

> 24 hourI took just a few minutes to read the directions, removed my AV software, plugged in the Ethernet cable, cranked it up, and VIOLA, about 6 hours later I transferred almost 500 gigs. It was almost too easy. Didn’t even need tech support. My brother turned me on to Laplink. He’s a brainiac. Thanks man.

> 24 hourThis product was not easy to use and did not do what it purports to do. I spent a total of 8 hrs trying to get this to transfer everything from one computer to another. It would have been faster to just back up first computer and copy from the backup disk to the second computer which is ultimately what I did. Save yourself the money and the time and just backup and transfer yourself. I will say their tech support was very easy to get ahold of and they helped as best they could.

> 24 hourWhy the ultimate comes with an Ethernet Cable and not a usb to usb becomes problematic requiring both pcs to have ethernet port. Allot of the newer pcs provide additional usb ports as the Ethernet Cable port is old technology. Suggest you invest in the usb to usb cable sold by laplink for an additional $30 if you want to speed things up. The total investment becomes $70 instead of $40 for the software. The transfer can be done via wireless as a workaround, which I decided to do. The report automatically generated once the transfer was complete indicated 13 hours and 46 min for a transfer of 438.2 Gb -- the reality was it took 41 hours NOT 13 hours. I have reasonably fast internet service and there were no interruptions, so the generated report was inaccurate. I handpicked what to transfer, mostly purchased and free software applications and the app data supporting them. I did not transfer any documents, photos, videos, etc as those are stored on external plug in hard drives. I did not transfer windows operating system related files or Microsoft 365 suite as those are sign-in based. Overall I withheld the five stars primarily due to the length of time for transfer was not what I expected. As far as the accuracy of transfer, I have not discovered any failures as of this written review.
