Had an issue getting it to download onto both computers. Tech support was able to get access to my computer and download easily. After the transfer started it took about 15 hours to transfer the data but all of the data did transfer onto the new computer.

Ive transferred info from many computers and this by far is the best product EVERRRRRRRRRRR

I have used this wonderful software several times now, twice in the last couple of months.

The new software sold in an open box means that the license number was compromised even though the CD portion was sealed. Worried that the license may be used by someone else using another PC Mover CD. Even calling PC Mover corporation to verify that the license wasnt used does not make me happy since I wasnt going to use the product for several months and someone may use the license before me.

I had an HP running on Windows 10 that I purchased in 2012 (Obviously upgraded to Win10) and the computer was on its last leg, so I purchased a new one, but was looking for something that would pull all of my programs over to the new system without having to painstakingly reinstall each one new on the new system. I was skeptical of these programs when I read some reviews and after doing some research decided on Laplink Ultimate 11. I will have to say this worked extremely well for me. It pulled over most of my programs without any issues and the few that it didnt, I just reinstalled. Ive seen some of the reviews where folks werent happy, but I have to feel this was user error more than the software. Like any software program...you need to read and follow the instructions and just not wing it. They are written for a reason. If you follow them, based on my experience, you will be quite happy with this product. I gave it a 5, but really a 4.5...but so much better than a 4 that I rounded up. Good luck and again...I was quite satisfied with the results. This took about 7 hours (started late evening and was done when I got up the next morning)....if I had done everything manually, it would have eaten up 4 -5 days of my time due to the amount of programs and info on my computer.

I never like to call things easy, so I often use the term straightforward. I used this on a work PC. Our end-user-computing group said my new PC was ready to go. LOL. We all know how that goes. Just use a thumb drive or OneDrive to move your files over. Sure, that works great for files that are documents. But not my applications and settings and preferences. Anyway, to make a long story short, PCmover let me infinitely configure what I needed to make the new PC behave exactly as the prior PC from a personalization standpoint. It didnt miss a beat, so neither did I. The prompts indicated it ...could take a significant amount of time to complete. So I was expecting a couple of hours. I believe it took about 20 minutes. This is exactly where I would describe it as Completely Straightforward. Thanks LapLink!

I bought this on purpose because I DID NOT want to use wifi to transfer everything, I also was under the impression that it contained a CD (not)! Both computers had to have their programs downloaded via the internet (miserable with slow speed) and then the program would NOT let me select their supplied cable as a transfer method. No answer on Tech line (Queue)! Before you start be certain to import ALL of your Favorites into every web browser that you have (in my wifes case (5). TO BE COMPLETELY HONEST; IT DID WORK COMPLETELY!

It doesn’t move everything. I was very disappointed.

I have been supporting PCs for over 30 years. This product is the best I have every used. Transferred all files and settinga and 97% of the software. I did email tech support with a question and got a very prompt reply. Strongly recommend this product.

This product worked flawlessly to transfer all my data from my old windows pc to my new windows pc.. best part is you do not need a bridging cable but you can use one if you wish.. I transferred data through WiFi. Took about an hour but everything transferred and worked afterwards.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED... !!
