Very easy to use. The only difficulty was I only had one monitor and had to switch back and forth. Took longer but still worked.

I have used this product many times with great success. When I used it this last time to transfer files and apps to my new laptop, I ran into a problem. With dread, I called support. Figuring I would now spend hours on the phone with support, I was pleased that the support rep was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. In about 10 minutes, my problem was solved and the transfer ran until it successfully completed. I will use it again when I move to a new laptop in a few years.

I used this product to transfer my data files and applications from my old pc to my new pc. The data transferred correctly but the applications did not. I had to reinstall most of the applications. One of the applications was not installed correctly. It did not show up when I looked at Apps and features. The application did not run successfully and I couldnt delete it. I ended up contacting Microsoft and they helped delete the application so I could install it correctly. I could have transferred the files myself in less time and I had to reinstall the applications anyway. Was not worth the money

I recently bought and used (2) Laplink PCmover licenses and both worked perfectly! I’ve successfully used the product several times over the past 13 years with absolutely no problems and highly recommend it to transfer settings, preferences, and Apps between an old and a new PC! A few times over the years, I needed to contact Tech Support and they were thorough, extremely helpful, and quickly helped me resolve the problem over the phone. I’ve used Ethernet in the past but will use the latest Datalink USB cable in the future!

Migrated software from Windows 10 machine to newer faster Windows 10 machine. Used the ethernet crossover cable. Spent 10 minutes reading instructions and setting up on original machine. Spent 5 minutes setting up on target machine. Ran it overnight and checked in the morning. Done.

works fine, make sure you read and understand the instructions. transfered everything from 32 bit windows 10 computer to a 64 bit windows computer. does take some time but everything works !!!

I have replaced several computers over the years. The data transfer process is always challenging. As computers continue to improve, they also seem to last longer. That creates a couple of problems - much more data to transfer and transferring data to more advanced operating systems. PC Mover made this extremely simple. By far and away, this was the easiest data transfer Ive ever executed. The kit contains the cable needed to transfer data (reduces the time required for data transfer versus wireless, but not mandatory to use it). While the directions can seem a bit intimidating, they are actually quite simple. Its advantageous to read all the steps first, so you dont anticipate what comes next and proceed in the wrong sequence. Follow the instructions! They are straight forward. Its not miracle software - if you have large files, it will take some time to transfer the data (my data transfer took 4+ hours). When it was finished, I had all my icons, everything functional that was supposed to be functional. Note: if you have old programs that wont run on windows 10, and you upgrade to windows 10 or newer, dont expect that program to transfer. The instructions are very clear on this. The software also offers an automatic feature or manual feature, for selecting what you want to transfer. It didnt transfer my favorite site listing, but that may be due to me not selecting the right transfer item (I manually selected what I wanted to transfer). But those are very easy to add back. I highly recommend this tool to those technically challenged (like me). I will certainly use it again the next time I upgrade.

My husband bought this for me for my new laptop. It was easy to use, and when I had an issue getting it to install on my new laptop, I used the chat feature and they immediately accessed my system to fix the issue blocking installation. We used the cable and the transfer took less than 2 hours. An excellent product, highly recommended!

I am not a tech person, however I followed instructions and my old PC (2007) transferred without indecent to my new PC, took about 6-7 hours to complete due to the music, video and picture file I transferred over.
