> 24 hourI was able to transfer all my apps and files but it took a bit more preparation than I understood. Thankfully the tech support was available 24/7. I had to use them 3 times. Make sure the version of windows is updated really. My computer said it was but in fact it wasn’t. All firewalls, notifications and anti virus need to be off. It is amazing how many notifications and auto updates are often running. Also make sure any after update restarts really completed.

> 24 hourThe entire process was seamless and uncomplicated. The only problem I had was that I used the program on the CD on one computer and downloaded the program on the other. This led to the computers not. Ring able to link. Customer Service helped me quickly and efficiently, and once I used the downloads program on both everything worked perfectly. I will only and always use PC Mover!

> 24 hourI have used this application once before in the past and was surprised when I saw negative reviews on the Amazon site. The first time I used it I had a problem setting it up and tech support answered their phone and got it going for me. During the transfer my wife attempted to use the computer and it stopped the transfer after many hours. It turns out that it was a SUNDAY AM when I tried to call them. Sure enough they answered and fixed the problem so that I could resume the transfer. This time I also had a problem getting it up and running and once again tech support answered right away. They took over control of my computer and had the download started within just minutes. Yes, it does take a LONG time based on how big your hard drive is but the time it saves is AMAZING! My transfer was 284 GB and took 11 hours and 14 minutes but the result and time it saved were well worth the price.

> 24 hourThe product pretty much does what it says, though more likely than not you are going to have to do some clean-up/troubleshooting on the new PC. I also received SafeErase as part of my purchase and I had quite a few issues with that and Laplinks chat support before I finally got someone on the phone who knew what he was doing. Overall, I dont think there is a much better of moving data and programs from an old PC to a new PC
