I bought a new computer, all the files were transferred from my old computer smoothly. I carefully followed the instruction and didnt encounter any difficulty. I am retired and not at the top of computer skills, but it wasnt too hard for me. It surely saved a lot of time and headache when you need to transfer old information to a new computer.

I ran into issues because Drive C on my new computer was found to be smaller than the one on my old computer, and the transfer from old PC to new PC wouldnt work. I tried Laplinks online documentation, chatting with a Laplink CSR -- none of it got the issue resolved. At that point, the CSR referred me to a third-party vendor who would be able to link in to my computer to make the transfer worked. The vendor tried to sell me a registry cleaner for $100, then immediately dropped the price to $70 when I objected. Do yourself a favor, just buy an external hard drive and manually copy your files -- old PC to external drive, external drive to new PC. Best of all, youll get to keep the external drive when youre done instead of a one use program with no future benefit.

I USED LAPLINK BACK IN THE 80S AND 90S. IT WAS TERRIFIC. THIS PRODUCT, PC MOVER LEFT THINGX BEHIND, SUCH AS MY SAVED PASSWORDS AND OTHER SETTINGS THAT MADE IT A L O T OF WORK. I WONT MAKE THE MIXTAKE OF USING THIS PROGRAM AGAIN, NOR WILL I RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

Took a stab at evaluating the myriad of transfer programs and decided on PC Mover Ultimate. Couldnt have made a better choice. Simple, fast and a great value. If youre in the market for a PC swap program, pick up this bad boy up. Highly recommended!

This didnt work for me. Although it would upload to one computer, it would not for the other. Total waste of money and the support they brag about is a joke.

Very easy to use software. Transferred all data and all programs I expected. Before retirement, I worked in IT for 20+ years, I wish I had this to use back then. Very low overhead on systems, intuitive user interface, even transfers fairly fast over wi-fi when one or more of your systems are like mine, and dont have a nic.

Have used this product many times. Straightforward and easy to use. Recently, performed a transfer to a new laptop, which failed shortly after purchase. Exchanged laptop and found PCMover license would not allow another transfer from the old computer.

Easy to use and flexible

If it wasnt from the phone help I got from a very knowledgeable fellow in customer support (who also supports Dell products) I would have got anywhere. I cannot believe that Microsoft recommends this product. This is my second go-round with this product. There has to be something better.
