> 3 daySearched online to get specific instructions. I should have got a USB to USB cable, so I had to use Wi-Fi transfer. Took a long time but it worked.

> 3 daySince I work for a software developer, Denver Tax Software, my system is fairly complicated. After using PC Mover Professional, the from the old computer to the new computer took less than a day. When I did this without PC Mover years ago, the migration took over one week. For a simple system, the conversion might take less than one day. I cabled both computers using a crossover cable that I had.

> 3 dayWaste of money AND time. Hoping this would make life easier moving my older applications to my new machine, but it just made life harder.

> 3 dayThis software worked perfectly for me. I followed the instructions, and the process went through without any issues. It did take a while, 7.5 hours, for 350-360gb. So, consider the time when you plan to move the data to your new PC/laptop.

> 3 dayItem worked as advertised. Had no problems, never needed to contact anyone. Was easy. I just read directions before I used it. Followed directions. Total transfer time for me was approximately 2-1/2 hours. Transferred everything I wanted and it all worked after the transfer. Transfer was from older Dell computer to new Dell computer.

> 3 dayI actually bought 2 versions. The first version used the ethernet cable. I had to call their help desk. The ethernet cable was slow so I had to wait overnight for the results. The entire process did not complete, but not due to the software. I had bought a 1 terabyte standard drive with 128 gig SSD. The SSD is considered drive C. I did not realize it, but all my software had to transfer to drive C from the old computer and so it did not fit. I returned that computer and got one with just 1 terabyte drive. I bought a new version of PCMover, even though I was told I could call them and use the license from the old transfer since things did not work out. With all the help I got, I felt obligated to buy another version WITH THE USB VERSION 3 TRANSFER CABLE. A standard cable will not work. Also, through tech support, I learned I had to download a special driver for this cable. With tech support, I was able to complete the software transfer and the transferred software has worked remarkably well. Also, do not skim through instructions, else you will fail.

> 3 dayI have used Laplink PC Mover for around 10 years (each time I need to upgrade my computer). Each time the process was successful. The very first time I used Laplink PC Mover the transfer took a bit of attempts (as my old computer was having issues with one of its failing drives. Their support staff were fantastic and spent all the time necessary to resolve the issue and ultimately the transfer went smoothly. I have used it twice this year and it is even easier to use than it used to be. I still needed to chat with one of their support personnel (at 4 am et on a Monday morning) and the on-line chat person resolved the issue relatively quickly and the transfer went perfectly.

> 3 daySince I used PCmover before, I went straight to the store for the new software when I wanted to transfer an old Windows 10 computer, where the hardware was failing, to a replacement Windows 10 computer. The replacement computer was used, but after wiping the installed drives, I used the link cable to effortlessly transfer over a Terrabyte of apps and data. I reinstalled Windows 10, reinstalled a few apps that I still had original software for, and reorganized some file structures, and everything worked great. PCmover saved me tons of time by not having to move things chunk by chunk. I reccomend it! It has worked twice for me!
