Whew! We purchased a new laptop and it is always my job to transfer everything from the old to the new. Fret...fret...fret!

This product never worked I dont need transferred certain files when Raphaels when it transferred the programs and said it would all work not one program would open miss missing files

It allowed me to transfer all my programs and files easily once I felt confident to do it. I was tentative as to what to expect and spent quite a while studying the many pages of instructions. Got help from tech support and they were pleasant and helpful. The only program that did not operate properly after transfer was Microsoft Outlook, but it had to do with using the address book, created in Outlook, for addressing envelopes in Word. But, I have a work around, so I’m not too disappointed.

I purchased this exact product many years ago and using it then was more trouble than it was worth. In the past, the program was a waste of my time and money. In the past, most of the moved programs did not work. In the past, many programs did not move to the new computer. However, this time the mover program worked flawlessly. That proves that the company has been constantly improving their product. All I had to do on the new computer was to input my WiFi router security code. All the old computer programs were transferred and they all worked. I used the program to transfer files and programs from an old W10 computer to a new W10 computer. The transfer did take 16 hours using the included Ethernet cable. I had a lot of pictures and video files to transfer so I expected the transfer to take a while.

I moved information to a new computer. I did have to make sure both were plugged in during the transfer.

This software is definitely great to move all your apps and settings from one OS to the other; just wish it was a little less expensive!

The software did a great job of moving data and programs from my old computer to my new computer. I had some issues with my ethernet data transfer which were resolved by an excellent tech support representative who was very efficient, professional and courteous. It was quite a relief to see all of my programs and files on my new computer. This is an excellent product that makes a very onerous task quite easy. Highly recommended.

I am an advanced computer user and over the years have accumulated a large number of files from numerous software packages. I have used PC Mover every time I have upgraded computers and it has worked perfectly each time! I even use a pretty sophisticated database program with associated record and they too were transferred perfectly. It really is straightforward, however, you should not be in a hurry and must read and follow all the instructions. The good news is they have awesome technical support if you get in a bind. Even though I have used PC Mover three times prior to my last use, I did have a minor glitch with one of the programs I wanted to transfer (it was my fault since I forgot to make a certain selection). At any rate, the online person was incredibly helpful and spent lots of time helping me to overcome what was my own mess-up. This is an amazing product and is supported by amazing people!

The original software was kind of kinky, but the tech support was absolutely stellar. They had me up and running instantaneously and I was able to transfer all of the relevant files from my old computer to my new computer without any headache. If I get a new computer again, I will definitely use laplink PC Mover. Excellent experience.
