I used PC-Mover twice in 3 weeks and each time the contents of an old PC/Laptop were transferred to the new PC/Laptop and the entire process went very smoothly. I pretty much let PC-Mover decide what to transfer and upon completion all I needed to do was verify that everything was transferred and old programs worked on new hardware. I highly recommend PC-Mover to anyone needing to move contents of an old PC/Laptop to a new one. Follow the prompts and you will have zero problems/issues.

Worked well for most files, but had a hard time with large number of music files.

This is probably the 4th or 5th time we have used this product to transfer mostly APPLICATIONS from an old PC to a new PC. It works well and is easy to install and understand. In this case, by purchasing 2 licenses, I moved applications from 2 different profiles to different computers. Everything went well as expected. Be patient, it takes time to work. I have not found another software out there that can do everything this one does.

Using this product was straight forward and rather easy. I ran into one problem, after starting the transfer I received a message that my new computer needed a Windows update before completing install. After doing this Laplink said my single use install had been used. I called Laplink and explained the problem and the representative reset it so I could restart my installation.

I had excellent results transferring most everything from my older PC to my new one. Very easy to use and the transfer was completed overnight. I had to manually install a couple of apps, but that was not a problem. I did have one problem with my SONOS multiroom audio speaker system. Apparently sometimes with PC-to-PC software, file sharing protocols can become disabled, which is why my music library was not accessible – the permissions were not there. SONOS customer support found and solved the problem for me.

I was a little skeptical of this program, however, it turned out to be simple and easy by just following the directions and using the provided cable. They do have a contact number to call if you have questions/problem but I did not have to call as the transfer of files and programs worked seamlessly. I would buy this program again if I had to transfer things from one computer to another.

This software was the easiest way to setup my new laptop. All you have to do is install the software on your old computer and then install on your new computer...then presto-chango. A few hours later, all the info from the old to the new is transferred, even your programs!

Product did not come with a DVD. Makes it useless for transferring from a disabled computer (no wifi). So I have half of a solution. Now I have to find a way to burn it to a disk or usb install. Yea...
