Laplink PCmover Ultimate 11 | Moves your Applications, Files and Settings from an Old PC to a New PC | Includes Optional Ethernet Cable | 1 Use

I had an old HP PC (2011) and it was in need of replacement but I dreaded the thought of having to copy and transfer all my documents, photos, and video that I wanted to keep; not to mention all of my personal settings. I saw Laplink PCmover on the HP site where I got my new PC and read up on it. The instructions and demos made all of these products look easy to use. So, I bought Laplink PCmover Ultimate 11. When I was ready to use it, I downloaded the app onto both PCs, hooked up the provided cable (in package I bought), followed the directions using mostly recommended settings, and a couple of hours or so later, >300 GB of data were transferred. It has been about a month since I used this and my my new PC exclusively. So far, Ive yet to find anything missing. I plan to use the provided SafeErase on my old PC once I am completely sure that all files have been successfully transferred. Yes, Im kinda paranoid because I didnt ensure complete transfer last time I did it myself. So, I will try to remember to add a note on how the SafeErase worked for me, once I actually use it.

If you dread getting a new computer because of the difficulty of moving all of your files over, this program makes the process much easier. Easy to use with instructions that walk you through the process. I know i will be using again.

If I could have given it zero stars I would have. First of all it was way to much of a pain to install. I needed help and had to schedule it for early morning hours. I chose not to. It was so much easier AND HALF THE PRICE to buy an externally all hard drive and copy data and programs off the old computer and reinstall on the new one.

We have used PC mover pro at least 20 times and have had great success. The only issues we have faced are with programs that are incompatible with windows 10. Other than that PC mover works great and I highly recommend it.

I purchased PCmover to transfer applications and data from my older Windows7 computer to my brand new Windows10 computer.

This product worked wonderfully for me.

Laplink did not move all my programs as I expected but it did move all my files. My emails were all moved over and once finished my desktop looked identical to my old computer exvept for two apps which I quickly found and downloaded. With the laplink cable it did not take as long to do the transfer as I would have expedcted. I would recommend this program to anyone that wants to transfer files and programs from their old to their new computer
