> 24 hourIm not really a mouse enthusiast, but I know what I like. I was using an old Logitech wireless mouse for work (at home), and it would cause me to develop pain in my hand if I used to for too long. I remembered I had a MX510 in the early 2000s and LOVED that mouse. So thinking I was being thrifty, I went onto a popular online auction site, thinking I could find one for dirt cheap... I mean who wants a weird shaped mouse from the early 2000s? $70 Starting price, $200+ New. I refused to pay that for a mouse (especially a used one), and settled on the G403, it was not the same as my beloved MX510 but it was A LOT better than the tiny Logitech I was using. I saw recently that there was a re-release of this mouse... I was thrilled. I waited patiently for the US version as I did not want to wait a month+ for one to be imported from Hong Kong. Wow, let me tell you... The design is exact. The feel is exact, even down to the rubber cable. I can use this mouse for hours on end, and never get pain in my hand. A lot of people hate this design, but I love it. I use it to game, and work, and it preforms flawlessly. I booted up Unreal Tournament 99 just for the pure nostalgia... Ive certainly lost my touch over the years, but the mouse felt just like I remember.

> 24 hourWhen I saw that some spin-off Logitech company, Logitech G, was remaking the MX518 mouse I was ecstatic. The MX518 was the best mouse Id ever used and since mine broke after ~7 years of use I had been looking to replace it. It may look and feel like the Logitech MX518 but it is not. My Logitech G MX518 is *already failing after only 3 months*! It has begun interpreting single clicks as double clicks. The button switch is failing. I do not recommend buying this mouse if you think you are getting a Logitech MX518. This mouse isnt it despite the name. *edit*: The Logitech RMA process is now terrible. Even after I took a video of myself using the mouse showing the defect while holding a piece of paper the tech support refused to honor the warranty. They tried to claim that my firmware version wasnt up to date (on my mouse?!) and then hung up on me *2* times while I was waiting on hold. The only way to get them to approve the RMA was to get angry and yell at them at which point suddenly the firmware version didnt matter (it never did, its a bad switch). DONT BUY LOGITECH.

> 24 hourPrior to this mouse, I was using this a bluetooth mouse to play games like Fortnite and Overwatch. After switching to this one, I see a major difference to the sensitivity and clicks to improve my gameplay. Anyways, on to the specifics! This is a wired mouse that plugs into your PC via USB. The wire is quite long, so you can fish it around any monitors to help make your desk space more cleaner. From the box, you can type in the specific link and get the driver for this mouse. The software can allow you to customize the various buttons. By default, there are options to go backward/forward in your web browser. And you can also increase, decrease, and set back to default the mouse sensitivity. So you can easily switch back between ones you need when gaming! My hand can rest easy on the mouse and the grip that I have on my right hand is comfortable. Im very glad to have purchased this!

> 24 hourMy husband has had this same model mouse for many years. When his old mouse started to break down, he searched for a replacement, trying everything from a very cheap mouse to a very VERY expensive gaming mouse. None of them were quite what he wanted. Finally, we found this same model on Amazon, and immediately ordered it! Hes thrilled, and Im considering ordering another one (or more!) as a backup, just in case this model has been discontinued when he needs another one. Its hard to find a mouse that fits just right, and this one is perfect for him. From other reviews, I see that this particular mouse is a well-loved model, and its not just my husband who thinks its perfect!

> 24 hourNostalgia in my hand. I had one of the 510s and knew I had to have this as soon as it was announced. Got it quick and hooked it right up. Pros: the shape is exactly as I remembered as the most comfy mouse Ive owned. Response is great and Im loving it so far. Cons: Material quality. The plastic is a little creaky and feels a bit cheap. Maybe keep the shape and improve the plastic on top? Also, I would have loved if they had added the scroll wheel that adjusts based on how fast youre scrolling. Anyway, its still a great mouse but with the plastic feel and old scroll wheel, I wouldnt have charged more than $39.99 for it.

> 24 hourMy younger brother gave me an older version of this mouse years ago and it has lasted me many years until I decided that it was time to replace it and Im glad I did. My old one was still working, it just wasnt working properly anymore. So I purchased a used but like new one and so far so good. This was a purchase that Im glad that I did and when it comes time to replace this one, Ill buy another one of these thats for sure.

> 24 hourAnd better than ever. I am not going to write a long review other than it is a great mouse. Sensor is accurate and doesnt do weird interpolation, smoothing or acceleration like some others do. Skates hold up well, clicks are a little loud though. If you are use to the MX518, G400 series, etc then this mouse will feel fine. Good for the palm grip people and weird finger/palm grip I have. Just be sure to use it on a good mouse pad. These sensor is VERY good. It will pick up things and cause your cursor to jump. If you have a good one, keep it clean. I recommend it be used on a hard mouse pad and not a cloth one. Glides smoother.

> 24 hourIn 2005, I bought a mouse for my first gaming computer. That mouse happened to be the Logitech MX510. I have used it since then, and its gone through everything with me. Its been around the world, to school with me, and the military. Finally, the cord started to fail after 15 faithful years. I could hear the constant disconnecting/connecting jingle during casual use or gaming. I knew they came out with the MX518 Legendary, and I finally decided it was time. The weight is a little lighter, the feel is the exact same (in a good way), but its a bitter sweet moment. The MX518 legendary is perfect, and If you decide to buy it, I hope you appreciate it as others have before you for its legacy. It doesnt have RGB or a million programmable buttons, but man does it ride smooth. This is a fully restored muscle car... not a Ferrari. If you can understand that, then youll fall in love with it.

> 24 hourI was heartbroken when my my old MX 518 died a few years ago. It was the greatest gaming mouse I’ve ever owned. Logitech absolutely nailed the ergonomics on the 518. I never found an adequate replacement. I’m not a fan of Logitech’s newer mice. They have great sensors, but very poor ergonomics with sharp edges and poor button placement. Someone at Logitech finally came to their senses it seems. The revamped 518 gives you the best of both worlds: the ergonomics of a 518 body combined with modern internals. This feels as great in my hand as I remember. Actually I think the build quality on this might be slightly better than the original. The sensor is definitely way more precise. Overall it’s even better than the old 518. Kudos to Logitech for actually listening and giving the people what they were wanting.
