TLDR: Wait for a sale or price drop unless you just need a wireless keyboard right now. Other than the price, its a solid keyboard. Pros: - Wireless capabilities - Bluetooth connectivity - Low profile (subjective) - Metal Body - Clean LED lighting - Dedicated media controls and audio wheel (the wheel feels great) - Immediate wakeup from inactivity Cons: - ABS keycaps - Price - Rattly Stabilizers (not too bad, probably wouldnt bother most) - Doesnt use cherry stems (no chance of custom keycaps) Thoughts: This is a really nice keyboard, but what keeps it from being great is the price. Starting with the keycaps, I dont know why Logitech still hasnt started using PBT yet. My copy has 16 keys with ever so slightly chipped bits that lets the lighting shine through. Luckily, theyre small enough that I have to deliberately look for them to notice, but still that shouldnt be an issue on a +$200 keyboard. On top of that, the switches are a unique design that doesnt use cherry stems, so you cant just throw on a different set of keycaps. I mentioned the stabilizers being rattly, but that could be me nitpicking from being used to keyboards that go the extra mile for that sort of thing. Theyre really not awful. Make no mistake, this keyboard doesnt have a custom feel. It feels very much like a production board which is to be expected, but that price rapidly approaches custom pricing. What youre paying for here is the wireless capability which is very nice, and a sleek look. Using it wireless is as easy as plugging in the dongle and switching on the board. Nothing to it. Bluetooth pairing is also very easy. Press the bluetooth button, turn on your device, set it to search for connections, type in the code, press enter. Switching between the lightspeed connection and bluetooth is very quick. Theres very little delay in the transition. This next bit is subjective, but I do really like the brushed aluminum implementation of the body. It looks really sleek and works with my setup nicely. The dedicated media controls are always welcome, especially the volume wheel. It operates VERY smoothly with virtually no side to side movement. I have to actually move it side to side to feel any movement, but you will never feel this with normal use. From a gamer standpoint, I really like the low profile keys and shorter travel distance. I never really saw the point in speed switches that have super high actuation points since you tend to bottom out anyway. A physically shorter key press is easier to perceive when needing to make quick presses. Conclusion: For most, Id say to wait for a sale or price drop. If you have a need or want for wireless and bluetooth capabilities in a keyboard, it does both flawlessly. The overall build quality is nice, but I wish PBT keycaps were an option. If the price were lower, Id easily recommend this as a 4 or 5 star, but any shortcomings are multiplied by the pricing.

Even though I chose the quiet model, it is too noisy for my liking... but I am getting used to it. Great performance, great battery! I got this to replace my aging K800. I do not care for the different lighting styles. The Number keys/special characters are inverted (special display below numbers, also period, comma, forward slash). All the keys are SUPER HARD to see when the backlight is off in my dark room. I have a minimal timer to shut the backlights off to save battery, which appears to be great! Also, I wished I could double up on the Lightspeed connectors (One USB dongle for multiple devices), but sadly, It does not appear to do that. I use LGUB for Keyboard, Mouse, and Headphones. I have not programmed any buttons or the lighting for games as I prefer just a solid color.

I actually really like this keyboard, but I cant in good faith give it more than one star at the moment. As this is a gaming keyboard, the WASD keys are essential, but my D key hasnt worked since day one of use. Often times the key will get activated multiple times upon a single press. I mostly play Overwatch with this keyboardd, consequently, Ive found that my movement to the right gets stuttered. Ive recently sent a complaint to Logitech customer support, and Ill change my review to be more positive if all goes well with that endeavor. As I saidd, I really like this keyboard, but the one badd exception is fairly ddamning on a gaming keyboard. P.S. Ive kept many of the double activations of the D key to demonstrate the frequency of the issue. UPDATE: After contacting Logitech, they sent me a new keyboard. As you can see, the d key is no longer getting activated on a single press, and now I feel I can boost the rating to 4/5 stars. Im tempted to give it 5/5 (especially after the positive experience I had with Logitech support), but I feel I cant do that for few minor reasons: 1) The price is pretty high: Though the keyboard is built really well and feels great to type and game on, the price is still pretty steep. 2) No textured keys for gaming: My previous keyboard had textured WASD keys, which I now realize I severely underestimated. The textured keys make it easy to find your way back to WASD after moving your hands for whatever reason. The ability to change the color of the lights certainly helps, but Id appreciate some textured keys to go along with that. 3) Theres still the small issue your keyboard might be defective when you receive it. Although Logitechs support was fantastic, this rating is based on my personal experience. I would have preferred to not have to contact support in the first place. It may seem like Im kind of nitpicking here, but please realize that these three negatives brought it down one star for me. The keyboard is fantastic otherwise, and if you can afford the steep price, you wont regret it. The keyboard is sleek, heavy, and really well built. The design of it is phenomenal, and even if yours arrives defective, you should have no problem returning it for a new one. Thanks again to Logitech support!

Bought this keyboard a back in Nov 2021 and now in Jan of 2023 i have noticed that some of my keycaps broke off. These keycaps are logitech proprietary low profile keycaps and are designed with one major flaw; they have extremly weak and delicate plastic stems (feet) attaching them to the switch. This means that even after regular use, few of my keycaps stems snapped off after a year of use. I had one keycap actually break both of the little feet so it cannot be attache to the keyboard switch at all. I lowered my review to 3 stars because of how expensive the kayboard is compared to longevity. ---- Pros: Slim and low profile design, The battery does last a long time (weeks for me between charges.) It is nice to not have a cable running to the keyboard. I have one charing cable for my mouse, keyboard and headphones that i alternate whenever each device needs charging. This helps me keep my desk cable free. I do not see any latency issues with gaming, ever. No hickups, no drops and no strange behavior. It just works. I do, however, keep the USB dongle plugged into my monitor which helps keep the wireless distance pretty small and has a pretty clear line of sight. I do like the extra bluetooth feature, it comes in handy if i want to quickly connect it to another device. The volume knob wheel is very smooth and i dont think i can live without it. CONS: The keycaps wiggle. I also use this keyboard for work and i noticed that the keycaps feel loose. They do not have a secure connection to the keyboards switch and you do get a loose or wobbly feel sometimes when tying. The top number row special characters do not illuminate. I knew this buying this keyboard but it is still very annoying when trying to type with low light. The Keycaps are very fragile. Do not try to take them out, or the stems will break. I knew this buying the keyboard and i was very delicate with it. However, after a year of use few of the stems have broken off. The micro-buttons are useless. you have to switch the FN keymode to use macros. unless you just progrem over you F keys. There should be an option where you just hold the FN key and push one of the F keys to use a macro but thats not how it works.

This is not my first mechanical keyboard, nor my first mechanical Logitech keyboard. Its by far one of the nicest looking and feeling keyboards Ive used though. I wanted to try a lower profile keyboard primarily for ergonomic reasons and had otherwise been really happy with the G810 Id been using for a while. This, despite the ludicrous price, fit the bill and overall I liked the look and design. The keys all feel and sound very uniform, and have a subdued/subtle sound similar to the G810 (I got the tactile version of the G815). One definite improvement over the G810 is that the spacebar is much quieter, in fact sounding no different than any other key on the board. So theres a lot good about it, Ive had no issues with the software recognizing it and supporting it beyond wishing I could have a keypress effect and command lighting both active: In terms of connectivity, it would have been nice if it didnt require two USB connections to use the passthrough but I understand why given they did that to ensure full power was provided to that USB port. Ultimately the best approach I think would have been to make it a USB 3 passthrough port, not USB 2. Moving on to the other design choices that are disappointing, especially given the price: *The memory keys are always greenish, you cant change them to match your color scheme. I am not overly bothered by this but its still very much one of those things that makes you go why though? *Theres no Scroll Lock light. The G810 had one, why is it missing now on a more expensive keyboard? Additionally, the Caps Lock, Num Lock, and Scroll Lock lights could be assigned different colors. On the G815 theyre just a bright white, too bright. Id really like to be able to turn them down a bit. *Finally, the other regression from the G810: The secondary functions on the keycaps dont light up. It is an unfortunate side effect of the design of the new switches, but why was it designed that way? Were there no alternatives that they could have pursued? I dont have a problem reading them, I keep my keyboard lighting fairly dim as is and the light from my monitors is enough to make the printed labeling visible, but it is in a dark font which Im sure makes it challenging for some. Overall a good keyboard but given the design oversights, not really worth $200. At $150ish (I think) the G810 was a better value. This is easily a nicer and better made keyboard with more premium materials, but Logitech seems to have skimped on some features which just shouldnt be happening at this price point.

I was skeptical about buying this keyboard based on the reviews I saw. I took a chance and am happy that I did. I wanted a TKL, wireless, USB/Bluetooth keyboard that is good for typing/work and gaming, has the Home/End/Pg Up/Pg Down keys in the traditional locations and also has the F keys offset (not directly above the number keys). $200 is a lot for a keyboard, but I trust Logitech and wanted to give this a try. It exceeded my expectations. I need the keyboard to be able to switch back and forth between a PC (Gaming) and a Mac (Work). On PC, I plugged in the lightspeed wireless dongle and I was done. On Mac, I paired the keyboard with bluetooth, it asked me press certain keys on the keyboard and I was done. When connected to the Mac via bluetooth, the Windows key changes to the Apple/Command key and the Alt key changes to the Option key automatically. It was seamless. I did not have to download any software or set any preferences to make this happen. I wanted to point that out because I couldnt find any other reviews that touched on that subject and this was important to know for my needs. They Keychron I was using did not have a wireless USB option, so I had to toggle back and forth between Wired USB and Bluetooth. To do so, you have to flip a switch on the side of the keyboard, then you have to flip a second switch based on if you want the keys to be Mac or PC. With the G915, all of this is gone. Its all wireless, and when you press the USB button its automatically set to PC keys...when you press the bluetooth button its automatically set to Mac keys (because I paired it with a Mac). Huge QoL improvement for me. Gaming wise...my first night I played with it, I won 6 straight in overwatch and got promoted to platinum so....take that as you will. In all seriousness though, there is no delay, no ghosting issues, no missed key presses or anything like that. It works perfectly. Typing wise, I prefer the tactile keys. The actuation point isnt super deep (like it is with Keychron) and the keys feel crisp and make a slightly audible click. I am fast and accurate. Very happy with this. The profile is suuuuper thin. So thin in fact that I dont need my wrist rest anymore. The Keychron I had was incredibly thick and without a wrist guard, it felt like my wrists were constantly angled up. Not the case with this keyboard. I dont care about lights but.....it has them, and there are several options available in the G-Hub software. On the negatives, the keys arent as tight as I am used to. They wiggle around kind of like a loose tooth might. Its not a huge deal, but its something I noticed that I thought was weird. The price is going to be the biggest negative for me. Paying $200 for a keyboard is unattractive, but since it covered all of my (weird) bases, I paid it. Wish it was close to $150. Overall, it fit my needs, performs better than expected and it cleaned up my setup quite a bit. Happy with the purchase, even if it was pricey.

Pros Build quality: Top Tier. Battery life: Lasts between 1 and 2 months on a charge. The 5 G Keys are useful for assigning macros to. Has a button to disable the windows key so you arent interrupted if you accidentally hit it. Everything from lighting to key assignment can be customized using Logitech G Hub. Keyboard design is inherently less pron to getting dirt under the keys and is easy to keep clean. Cons Expensive!

It feels so smooth, and each keystroke is satisfying and natural to press. I hate the clickiness of soem keyboards, this one is smooth with each click that it doesn’t “mess me up” if that makes sense.

I have been using this keyboard for a while now and I really like the feeling of the keys and the sound when pressing keys.

Really loved this keyboard - the battery life was going to be astonishing; from full charge and after 2 days of medium usage (about 5 hours total), still held 94% charge because it is smart enough to kill the lights and even kill the power to the keyboard often enough it saves battery. Just a tab on any key wakes it up and youre good to go. Their proclamation of 30 hours seems to be a pretty safe bet. I grabbed this one after trying a cheaper unbranded gaming keyboard that only gave me 5 hours total before the battery died. The only downsides were the inability to see the unlit shifted keys in a dark room, its length (left little room for my mouse on a cramped desk), and the placement of the G1-G5 keys to the left of the tab/caps/shift and ctrl buttons. Hitting those buttons on accident while going for shift or some other combination that required it is the main reason I sent this one back and replaced it with a G915 TKL version, which has an even better battery life (40 hours) and no annoying accidental keypresses of the macro keys. If you need a 10-key or need to use it for work, the G915 is a solid choice. if just for gaming or casual use, go with the TKL model. They are both a bit pricey, but well worth it to complete out your gaming system setup.

G915 TKL is a new class of wireless mechanical gaming keyboard with low-profile GL switches and pro-grade 1 ms LIGHTSPEED wireless. Capable of delivering 40 hours of non-stop gaming on a full charge. . Fully customizable per-key, LIGHTSYNC RGB technology also reacts to in-game action, audio and screen color as you choose. With a sleek, impossibly thin yet durable and sturdy design, G915 TKL brings gamers to a higher dimension of play. Dedicated volume wheel and media keys give you fast, easy control over video, audio, and streaming.
