Logitech G915 TKL Tenkeyless Lightspeed Wireless RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, Low Profile Switch Options, Lightsync RGB, Advanced Wireless and Bluetooth Support - Tactile, White

This keyboard is not a terrible keyboard dont get me wrong, but there are a few bugaboos that drive me bonkers. The shift function of the keys are not rgb lit, makes it difficult sometimes at night to see certain keys like # & @ for example. The secondary (shift function) of some of the normal keys are also physically (appearance) swapped. The / above the ? for example. I also do not like the placement of the G keys. I hit them frequently instead of the caps or shift buttons. Overall my WPM and accuracy dropped. Those are the key points I wish to share.

Saw a demo G815 with the clicky keys. Enjoyed it and found here for $50 off. Swapped from a HyperX keyboard to this one and I enjoyed the slim feel of the keys. The part that makes it a 4 star for my tastes is the first impression of having a extra row of keys to the left of the keyboard which makes is harder for me to recenter onto WASD or QWER for my games, this opinion may change after longer use (I’ve had it for 10 hours of gaming so far). The keys are also far lighter so I have mistyped more than a few times just from my standard resting position. Overall, very easy to setup the software, very satisfying clicks, and more comfortable on my desk with it being more slim. Would certainly recommend to a friend.

This is probably the best wireless keyboard ive ever used. Honestly, Ill probably never go back. But the half star deductions are from both the following: Too expensive. No need to have it at this price point (200+ at the time of writing) No USB Passthrough. Before someone says Wireless keyboards cant do that the Asus ROG Claymore II literally does that.

TLDR: great keyboard but not worth the money. I’m this essay I will… First off, I love the keyboard. The response time is great, rgb is bright (if you’re into that) and the Logitech hub isn’t a terrible piece of bloatware. If you’re looking for a wireless gaming keyboard you could do far worse. I’ve had no latency using logitechs wireless hub but haven’t bothered with blue tooth. I use this keyboard exclusively for my gaming set up though. The key caps are cheap for a 200+$ keyboard. It’s extremely low profile which I find to be awful for typing in a work type setting but for gaming it’s fine. The battery lasts forever even with full rgb on. They went cheap with a micro usb charger but I can’t tell you the difference other than convenience this makes on charging. USB c would be preferred since it is the standard now but here we are. Thankfully if you have the Logitech gpro mouse which I assume Logitech buyers might for a gaming set up you can use one plug to charge both (not at the same time obviously). It goes to sleep fast but wakes up faster than my wireless keychron k4 I use for work which is really nice. Like everyone else my complaint is the price. I’d the keyboard was 150 I would have gladly paid that without feeling bad but 200+ is a big ask and makes me have buyers remorse on what would be a great keyboard. The key caps are cheap too but I’m not big on that kind of thing. The keyboard is solid but keep in mind it is very thin and so ergonomically isn’t great if you’re someone who likes their keyboard elevated. On prime day this was on sale for 160$ which I missed sadly. If you can wait for that sale again I would do that because as I said, at 150 im happy at 200$ im second guessing my purchase.

Even though I chose the quiet model, it is too noisy for my liking... but I am getting used to it. Great performance, great battery! I got this to replace my aging K800. I do not care for the different lighting styles. The Number keys/special characters are inverted (special display below numbers, also period, comma, forward slash). All the keys are SUPER HARD to see when the backlight is off in my dark room. I have a minimal timer to shut the backlights off to save battery, which appears to be great! Also, I wished I could double up on the Lightspeed connectors (One USB dongle for multiple devices), but sadly, It does not appear to do that. I use LGUB for Keyboard, Mouse, and Headphones. I have not programmed any buttons or the lighting for games as I prefer just a solid color.

In short, this keyboard feels extremely satisfying to type on, and for someone coming from a laptop keyboard I highly recommend it. For those coming from mechanical keyboards, you really need to feel this to know if you like it or not, but I really like the feel of the tactile switches. Pros: - Tactile switches feel excellent for both typing and gaming (although pure gamers might prefer reds) - Wireless (basically zero latency; no cables; just fantastic) - RGB is extremely bright (turns off quick, but you can adjust the sleep times and colors in GHub) - Great battery life (I have to charge maybe once every two weeks, although that is usage dependent) - Volume wheel is fantastic Cons: - Expensive (Do not pay $230, that is absurd. For the $170 I got it for, it is an expensive but great keyboard) - Micro usb to charge (In 2022, placing Micro usb instead of usb c for $230 is absurd, but again, find a sale) - GHub is required to adjust sleep states and RGB (I dont mind much, but some do, so its worth mentioning) I am a longtime laptop user, and only in the past year or so did I begin using external keyboards. First, I used apples magic keyboard, and while this keyboard enabled me to type accurately (Im a longtime mac user), it does not feel great due to the incredibly short keys and lack of tactility. Then, I used a ducky one two mini given to me by a friend with Cherry silent red switches, and this keyboard was just much too sensitive. The actuation force required by the keys was ridiculously low, which is fantastic for gaming, but for anything else it creates typos unless you can adjust. Thus I went looking for low profile mechanical keyboards. This was the only low-latency wireless one I could find. It is premium, feels great, and I really do not have any major complaints so far. No, the switches arent replaceable. But thats also not really their target demographic. If you want the best in low profile mechanical keyboards for work and gaming, this is it.

So, I bought this brand new and it definitely had some crumbs on it and the packaging was open. All in all I suppose I should have just exchanged it. However, I ended up just sticking with it as there was nothing wrong with it as the month past. If it breaks now, thats on me I suppose. All in all a great space saver, the battery life is great, and the sound is beautiful. While the lighting isnt the strongest out there It is still rather nice in my eyes. The white would probably provide better bounce back for lighting. All in all a wonderful product.

I paired this with a gel wrist pad, and this is by far the best most amazing keyboard I have used. I have tried over 20-30 keyboards. My typing speed keeps getting better and better, and more effortless. The colors are really cool and impress people as well. They are not distracting at all for me.
