Meta Portal TV - Big Screen Smart Video Calling for Group Calls on Your TV

> 3 daySo touch screen is great, sound is amazing. Had the whatsapp video call drop calls when using the filters during the call. Can call multiple ppl on one call. Just note that if you call via fb messenger or whatsapp you can only add people to the call via whatever app your using. ALEXA will not make calls. So if yiu say alexa call mom, it will tell you it is not supported and tell you to use your phone app. But if you say hey portal call mom, it will call mom and search via their name on fb messenger. The camera follows you but not as fast as it advertises on their commercial or video example. Video quality is legit. Perfect for a toddler that runs around and for the grandparents to enjoy watching him play versus a phone moving around all the time. No more video calls with them looking up his nose or facing the wall. Lol. Really enjoying this product and use it mostly for music and video calls so far. There arent that mant apps for it yet. However sure the kinks will be worked out when software upgrades are available. Got it on sale so for $129.99 is a decent price to me for what it does. Glad it got it and love watching my son argue with alexa bc she cant understand his toddler language yet. (Priceless)

> 3 dayThis is the most garbage product. We never got it to work properly, would frequently have the screen blackout and lose audio (even though whoever we were video calling could see and hear everything). I tried to get support on it, and they would just say it needs resets. Now it is beyond the return window. Do NOT buy this item.

> 3 dayYoull need a FB account, an HDMI cable and the ability to not freak out over the super limited and vague instructions. Plug it in, follow the prompts and enjoy. We love ours. We bought my 86 year old Mom the mini and she can use it just fine. The picture and sound are awesome. Worth every penny being able to see my Mom live...highly recommend this!

> 3 dayThis portal TV has helped so much for our family who is spread out across the world to stay connected! We were able to have our traditional Christmas of sharing the Christmas story, singing songs, unloading our Christmas stockings, and opening our presents one at a time from the US to Europe. We also have had many fun times of playing games together and even watching movies together. Its like we are all actually sitting in the same room together. Its a MUST for all families who enjoy spending lots of time together. CS

> 3 dayI love it! It depends on the size of your TV but you can talk to loved ones and view quite a lot. The sound is very good too. We enjoy it. The only bad thing is my daughters puppy chewed on the power cord and we are not able to find the correct power cord to it. We contacted the company and the asked us for the serial number. We cannot find the box it came in and the letters and numbers under the portal are too small to read. We have not been able to communicate because of a chewed up cord.

> 3 dayWeve been using an older first generation Portal and like it very much. I was not expecting to be so impressed with this one, but wow have they managed to improve almost everything about the original! It still has the very cool zoom-and-pan style camera feature that follows the subject, as well as all the fun filters and of course my kids favorite, story time... but the polish and style of this unit is really premium. The speaker is fantastic and LOUD if you want it to be. The clarity and bass rivals my bookshelf speakers so well, sometimes the kids play music off it and I could have sworn they were using the speakers in the living room. But the biggest improvement over the previous generation is the ability to run off battery power and move around. The portable portal honestly makes so much sense, I wonder why the original stationary style ones came out first!
