Meta Portal TV - Big Screen Smart Video Calling for Group Calls on Your TV

The screen its not the best but its a great product for that price.

This portal is so cool. We can talk to our granddaughter and see her on a larger screen. The set up for this is super easy. The sound and picture quality is great. I love this product.

Ive done a couple video calls and they worked fine. I mostly use this as a nice little companion and assistant. Picks up my voice easily and understands well most of the time. Love just asking it to play something on youtube or look something up.

If you want nothing but to use the audio/ video part of messenger it’s probably ok- but the fact that you can literally can not read messages in the messenger app when people send you written messages is absolutely ridiculous- on a device invented to support Facebook messenger. My mother has a hard time reading small text, you can only read the messages people send you in a mobile browser, which is very small on this device. How do you create a device intended to use with messenger and not let people read messages on it? You also cannot download photos on it. Took two hours software update straight out of the box, so it took me all night to find this out the hard way- plus their support is the absolute worst. It’s pretty garbage, don’t buy.

If you like the Portal, the great camera features and the added convenience of being able to move this device wire free anywhere within your Wi-Fi zone while youre on a video call, make it a winner

I love my portal TV! High quality, and it has brought my extended family back together! Love it!!!

This is a neat little toy, but for my take if you already use a phone or tablet for video conferencing, you really don’t need this as well. It’s a nice screen and really does work, but it doesn’t do anything your phone or tablet aren’t capable of. Got this as a gift.
