Meta Portal TV - Big Screen Smart Video Calling for Group Calls on Your TV

I have connected the unit in the kitchen were we spend plenty of the time to prepare the food, having a coffee, or gathering for a dinner. Its nice to see the slide show of our latest trips and hear the music from Pandora or any other music application.

Im a great fan of facebook and whatsapp and use them in daily life. They have really become part of life. I was super excited when I saw this Portal device selling for $35 on Prime day and ordered two devices immediately. Honestly, I had not experienced this device or saw any videos on what it can do.

Absolutely waste of money! Scrolling and touch screen needs to improve upon a lot.

Love that can use this device instead of phone or tablet and always carrying them around this portal just does what it describes camera follows zooms everything its a must have if you use messenger and whats apps

Screen is great, Alexa integration is great. It does try to get you to call people using Facebook messenger every time which is annoying but it’s great for WhatsApp, zoom or teams calls with adaptive camera.

After 3 months of use the charger dock just stopped working...so my mothers gift has been nothing more than a paperweight.

Bought this so my husband that is visually impaired can video chat with grand kids, kids, and other family. Great product but as soon as someone picks up a tablet in our home it is asking who is using portal. Very annoying. Other than that it is great.

After trying a half a dozen WebCams with my insignia fire smart TV, this was the first one that actually allowed me to use zoom without the aid of my laptop! It both allows you to use zoom through its platform AND through your smart TV (if you have the Zoom app on there). Some reviews of this product said it worked for zoom but several said it did not. I am here to tell you it 100% does and it is not complicated to set up or use.

Is not user friendly. Screen froze up while setting up. Would not recommend. Picture quality poor.
