Meta Portal TV - Big Screen Smart Video Calling for Group Calls on Your TV

I was looking forward to using this for displaying photos when not in use for other functions. Unfortunately, no matter what I did it would not rotate through photos properly and only showed the same 6 ones over & over. I contacted support and tried several fixes that dud not work. This is a know issue wirh SOME Metaportals that doesnt have a fix yet

Good product and zoom capability. However, sometimes its difficult to connect with sound when talking to the other end. Its picture perfect. But it often breaks conversation

Will not cone back on after initial setup. I even changed the battery remote but still won’t work. So disappointing! I have to return it. What a waste of time.

I bought this as gifts for my adult kids and myself to keep in touch during this pandemic. I have tried mine out and I love it! I can’t wait until my family opens theirs and we can all connect again. Wanted to add that we have tried this out and it was great! My granddaughter loved it! We played games, it was perfect!

Update 2-8-2023: Still using the portal but hey portal was recently lobotomized in favor of Alexa, which I did not care for. I dont use Alexa and was happy with simple hey portal commands but now it only makes calls via voice and does not give time, weather, or much of anything else. Kind of felt like in the original Planet of the Apes movie when Taylor met up with his astronaut buddies after being separated, You did it.. you bloody baboon.

Love this product its especially good for musicians trading ideas and playing together! The sound quality is great as well.

Amazing device. But Facebook is evil.

although i feel there are others devices that can do just as well if not better, this one was purchased for my grandmother to video chat me. once she got it up and running the calls were decent quality, as good as facebook calling and the camera would broaden to ensure i could see her when she stepped away to do something else. she enjoys it and it is synced to her phoen so she doesnt miss a call.

I got this for my Mom several years ago. She is in assisted living. Two daughters live in a different State than she does, as well as most of her Grandchildren.
