Meta Portal TV - Big Screen Smart Video Calling for Group Calls on Your TV

Worked OK shortly after connecting and making several calls. Several weeks later, after returning from Christmas holiday, device stopped transmitting video to receiver. Audio was OK.

It is not used FRIENDLY

I received my Portal for Fathers Day and enjoyed it so much I purchased several fro my adult children & sister who all live across the country.

This is a stationary device. It has to be plugged in at all times. If you are in the middle of a video chat and want to move locations and go to unplug it the device powers off

After 3 months of use the charger dock just stopped working...so my mothers gift has been nothing more than a paperweight.

This is a great addition to our two smaller (8) & (10) inch Echo Shows. I’ve placed this 15” in family room for visits with our older children. We can easily view people across the room without huddling around smaller screen.

What can be improved:

Took a minuet to set up total touchless calling and operation but is great

I just dont get why I bought this thing. It seems to be something that Facebook can use to track me??

The ease of deploying this as a video conference system to any TV makes it a great concept. One doesn’t have to mess around with issues around webcam compatibility with Android TV.
