VERY STURDY STAINLESS STEEL GRIP. Installed on a single stud with deck screws. Great price and easy installation. You cant go wrong here.

Suction power does not apply to this item. They attach by drilling holes and screwing them into wood studs. Tje only way to put a grand bar on

First, you must locate two studs to install securely and for safety. If you cannot locate then hire a professional. After locating the studs, i applied masking tape on the wall so I could layout the holes. Unit is 18 inches but studs were 12 in apart, so I installed at an angle. You can install vertically if desired onto one stud. I have tile, so I patiently but firmly drilled holes big enough that the screw would fit through because I did not want to crack the tile when tightening.i drilled six holes, stopping after each one to check the next hole location before drilling the next. My rating is 4 stars because the polished brass color is close to a 14k gold color. It does not look bad, but the color is not the same as the polished brass fixtures throughout the bath.

Nice & sturdy grab bar!! Moen is the best one IMHO, you pay a few dollars more but this are perfect for an ADA area. I give this bar a 4 star b/c they are VERY slick when wet. VERY. I applied shower non-slip stickers along mine & that worked perfect. These are nice beefy bars, not like the ones sold on EBay that are small & thin.

I like that the mounting flanges have elongated screw holes, so that you can position the mounting screws where theyll do the most good. I was a bit disappointed with the paint job. It looked hastily done, with just barely enough paint at the ends to cover whats not hidden by the end caps. But once installed, the bar is sturdy and looks ok. To install this bar, youll want a stud finder to be sure youre mounting the bar securely. I installed this on a tiled wall, and a 3/16 glass and tile drill bit gave me suitably-sized holes in the tile. Once mounted, youll want to apply some bathroom tub and tile caulk around the inside of the end caps to keep moisture out. Now begins the test of time. Well see what condition its in in ten years.

I bought three of these 12 inch Moen grab bars and one 18 inch. I used a 5/16 mortar bit to put the holes in the tiles I used three of the four 2 inch screws in each template 2 makes a huge difference in security I used triple grip brand heavy duty anchor #10 for all materials made of plastic w/ 46 lb rating #10 Broke my hip, so taking a safe shower was top priority. Moen is quality. Days before i bought double pairs of 1 diameter grab bars and returned them. Absolute junk w/ 1 inch screws Avoid them

Installed just outside of a walk in shower. To give a bit of stability on both entrance and exit Good match to grab bars already in the shower
