> 3 dayI like that the mounting flanges have elongated screw holes, so that you can position the mounting screws where theyll do the most good. I was a bit disappointed with the paint job. It looked hastily done, with just barely enough paint at the ends to cover whats not hidden by the end caps. But once installed, the bar is sturdy and looks ok. To install this bar, youll want a stud finder to be sure youre mounting the bar securely. I installed this on a tiled wall, and a 3/16 glass and tile drill bit gave me suitably-sized holes in the tile. Once mounted, youll want to apply some bathroom tub and tile caulk around the inside of the end caps to keep moisture out. Now begins the test of time. Well see what condition its in in ten years.

Greater than one weekThis was exactly what we wanted but the color was not what we were looking for. Looking for a cream color as advertised but it was really white sent it back.

> 3 dayHave yet to have installed but so far so good. Round size is just the proper size for both women and men. Hopefully we will install soon.

> 3 dayInstalled this along with a 12 inch bar in a newly remodeled bathroom for my elderly mother. It is nice because it does not make the entire bathroom look like a nursing facilitys industrial-strength bathroom. The white blends well with the overall bathroom and the hidden screws are nice as well. Easy to install with just a drill with a masonry bit (installed into tile).

> 3 dayI’ve used this before, but had to return this one. Good quality, and short for use in places where the person just needs a small grab bar to get them up off the toilet. It doesn’t have a textured surface, however, so I always mount them at an angle.

> 3 dayI recently renovated my bathroom and one of the smartest things I did was place grab bars around the room. People dont like to talk about it, maybe because theyre ashamed they need the help, but my life was made considerably easier when this was installed next to the toilet in order to assist me to stand up. I got older, my knees got very bad, my back is in constant pain, my balance is sometimes off -- any one of these should be enough to push one to install a grab bar. I used to DREAD standing up just knowing the pain that was about to shoot through my knees, I wondered if I was going to have to call someone to help me. Isnt that more humiliating than using a grab bar? As far as this specific grab bar, Im quite happy. My contractor told me it installed easily, I havent had any issues, its firmly attached and strong enough to handle any pressure or weight Ive put on it. Its a nice white and the screws are hidden, which is a nice touch in my opinion. Im not glad that I have to use a grab bar but Im very pleased that I have this one.

> 3 dayI cant speak for the SecureMount (sold separately) Anchors because I didnt buy/use them. I screwed these grab bars into a stud.

> 3 daySince I did not have studs to install these into, I use the Moen custom clips requiring drilling into the tile , through the cement board, and they are solid. These are purchased separately, but very happy with the purchase and very easy to install. You need a drill, the circular hole saw to sign for tile, a level, and a screwdriver.
