Greater than one weekWhat can one say: They require installing, always a challenge to have the right accessories and tools but they went up, look very good and do the job of providing safety bars. Typical Moen quality.

Greater than one weekI have wanted one of these in our shower for so long. It only takes one episode of feeling weak or a slip of the foot to turn into a major emergency. Having this grab bar gives a sense of steadiness and safety, especially if you are also using a shower seat. I cant take credit for the installation, however, I know it took less than 30 minutes using the screws. I love that it was available in different sizes and colors/finishes. We chose the white and it fits right in with our white tub and shower curtain. I also purchased the 9 inch grab bar and positioned it so you can hold onto it getting in and out of the tub.

> 3 dayEasy to install though I used different screws and anchors (anchors werent included which I found odd). I like the peened section.

> 3 dayConsidering the statistics stating that one of the major causes of injuries at home is slipping and falling in the shower or tub, I thought this was a wise move before I fell prey to this. I have a deeper soaking tub thats also a shower, and therefore the risks getting in and out are greater than average. It was ordered through Amazons web-site and the reason I chose it was because it was the cheapest of all the products in this category, in a brass finish. It arrived within 3 days of the order, and was packaged well. The grab bars covers over the mount were a bit difficult to remove, and needed a screwdriver to prise off. Youve got to do it carefully so as not to mar the finish, but the finish seemed pretty tough anyway. The mount provides multiple positions to position screws. It recommends that you use three screws each, but its kind of hard to find enough room on a 2 stud to put two screws side-by-side, especially when you have to first accurately locate the studs position using a sensor. This is probably the hardest part in trying to mount this on the tiled wall adjacent to the shower / tub. Otherwise, everything else went easily - just be careful drilling through tilework so as not to crack it. I used a hammer drill with a 3/8 bit, but first I covered the drill spot with a piece of electrical tape on which I marked the hole positions. Then go slow... After screwing in the bar, it was easy to slip the brass covers over the mounting plates.

> 3 dayThis is a wonderful product. It is just the right length to hit the studs. It was easy to install. It looks great. I weigh 235 pounds and put my full weight on both bars, and these bars remained solid and secure. My mom, who is now in her 90’s loves it! What is not to like?

> 3 dayI bought three of these 12 inch Moen grab bars and one 18 inch. I used a 5/16 mortar bit to put the holes in the tiles I used three of the four 2 inch screws in each template 2 makes a huge difference in security I used triple grip brand heavy duty anchor #10 for all materials made of plastic w/ 46 lb rating #10 Broke my hip, so taking a safe shower was top priority. Moen is quality. Days before i bought double pairs of 1 diameter grab bars and returned them. Absolute junk w/ 1 inch screws Avoid them
