thinking i can control this remotely, but you need a hub to control over wifi. otherwise you need Alexa

Purchase these bulbs to go with my Echo 5th Gen and they work perfectly. Didnt of to download any app for them to connect to Alexa, the integration went seamlessly. Havent tried the motion detection but will definitely give an update review once I do. Would recommend these bulbs for anyone who want to purchase smart bulbs with no hassle to connect to your Alexa system.

Phillips Hue might not be the brightest, however, its the most flexible. Installation was a breeze, both physically and digitally. I installed two bulbs into the ceiling fans, and poof, they paired quickly inside the app and I was tuning the rgb in a matter of seconds. Not really much to say here, its all pretty straight forward, these arent the brightest bulbs at this price range, but they dont need to be, they deliver and ease of access is what makes getting more of these, incentive enough.

Replaced my early gen 40W-60W lamps with these and now I can see in my bedroom. Probably not great for the wife as now she can get a good look at me. This might have been a huge mistake on my part. Still, at least now I can see if my shoes match.

It shines very well for its size, however, I dont really like the warm color.

So, the lighting in my basement is wonky - switch at top of steps turns on lights on opposite side of basement versus light at bottom of steps. So when anyone would go down, theyd leave lights on when they came up. Its hard for me to go up and down stairs to turn off the lights due to bad knees. My son recommended these. They installed quickly and easily - however - you must have a newer generation Echo or Dot. Luckily I got a new dot with these bulbs during June Amazon days. I just wish they were whiter - but its not a deal breaker. All I say is Alexa turn on the lights, and voila, lights are on!

The bulbs are So Simple to install and setup. And to connect to my Alexa, well, it did it without any help from me. Kids love the color and I like how bright it can get. Well Done!
