I love these lights. I put these in multiple places throughout the house. This most recent purchase I used for my stairwell chandelier which turned out great. Especially in time for the holidays. I love that I can change each individual bulb to a certain color as well as be able to turn them all on or off via Alexa or Siri I also put one bulb on my front porch light in order to have it turn on during certain times and turn off at certain times.

I have outfitted my entire home with Hue smart lights and I absolutely love it. Being able to have remote access is a really big deal for me, so that is a major factor in why I went with all Hue. The app isnt absolutely perfect, but when you need it to work, it does. And it [can be, most of the time] is pretty simple. Also having fine control over the brightness is crucial. If you get the Ambience bulbs, youre going to love setting the color tone. I do recommend using these bulbs in an outlet which has good air flow past it. If you keep it inside a can light or something like that, it will very likely burn itself out prematurely due to all the excess heat. But personally, I have- fingers crossed- not had a Hue bulb burn out on me in the over 5 years Ive owned them.

Excellent lights and the app is great. My only criticism is that the price needs to come down a bit. Feit has smart bulbs that do the same thing and you get 3 bulbs for less than $20.

I literally have no idea what I’ll use this for but it was easy to set up and it is really cool. Hopefully I’ll find a practical use for it other than just changing the color of my office lamp while I’m bored on an online meeting and seeing if anyone notices.

This was a freebie with the new Echo Dot I wish that the features and configuration for the brightness and be able to utilize more features compared to some of my other smart bulbs for the price of this that it normally runs at I would not recommend there are many other options
